"We hired Good Co for our 1920's themed holiday party. They were extremely flexible and accommodating, especially when we asked if they would follow our leadership around the office as they gathered people for the party. Awesome talent, great at judging sound vs space. Our office is pretty echo-y and loud, but they found the right balance immediately. Definitely keeping on the books for next time!"

"Consummate Professional We have booked Howard both as a solo pianist and his trio on several functions, both privately and for my company. He is always well-prepared. He asks if there are any special songs that we would like to have performed. He usually asks about the itinerary for the whole event to ensure that we maximize the time he is booked. He arrives early and is always prepared. We would recommend him for any job especially if it is an upscale event."

"I loved working with Dan and the crew. They showed up super early to make sure they had the exact location. Sound check was done before guests started arriving and best of all, they were totally self efficient which is key for wedding planners on the day of the wedding. Their music performance was impeccable and so well sort out. Totally took charge and connected with my bride on her music selection. "Alex and Sophie were absolutely fantastic. They were so accommodating with our requirements, and they put together two sets which just suited the evening we were going for. Some chilled Jazz to start followed by a second set that got everyone up dancing! Our party was the first they had done since the lockdowns, but you couldn’t tell they hadn’t performed for a while. Fantastic, and would highly recommend! (10 / 10)"

"Motif were amazing from the get go. They came up with great suggestions taking our tastes and preferences on board, and providing alternative suggestions which worked perfectly. They learnt our first dance as a new song and even changed some of the wording for us to fit better. Everyone of our guests commented on how great they were and our night wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank you so much, so glad we booked you."

"Thank you so much to Morag and the team playing beautiful pieces of music throughout our wedding ceremony at Mansfield Traquair 29th March 2015. The string quartet created the most amazing and romantic atmosphere as our guests arrived, and it made the moment I walked down the aisle feel magical. They continued through our drinks reception, keeping our guests delighted and entertained while we snuck away for some time with the photographer. I would definitely recommend The Quartet – a talented and professional group of musicians playing effortless and seamless renditions of popular and traditional music. "It would be too easy for me to say that Motif were simply outstanding, and it would probably do them a disservice too. So, to qualify such high praise, let me first say that I regularly book live entertainment for various events and have done so for the past 30 years or more. From the outset they were a delight to deal with in the pre-planning of their performance during our Christmas party night for 120 people of all ages. On arrival (at the pre-arranged time) both were extremely relaxed, yet professionally efficient in setting up their equipment in front of everyone, causing no inconvenience to anyone, including during their soundcheck. They started singing exactly on time and from the first note had the attention of everyone. Their musical versatility and ongoing rapport with the audience was excellent. Individually their voices were exceptional; as a duo they complimented each other perfectly, and together they provided a thoroughly entertaining night of vocal excellence across a wide range of musical genres that had people on the dance floor, or completely in awe, throughout. These are two highly talented, motivated and extremely polite and respectful young entertainers, with a professionalism and desire to do a good job that not only exceeds their years, but is sadly not so common these days. The amount and sincerity of ongoing positive feedback I have received from everyone present is unprecedented and I will certainly be re-booking them in 2020 when we next repeat this event... my life would not be worth living if I did not! I could not recommend Motif highly enough and I wish them both all the adulation they rightly deserve in what should surely be long and successful musical careers. "
