"Solo tengo que darle las gracias a Pamela por su atención y su trabajo. Toda una profesional desde que contacté con ella hasta el final de su actuación. En nuestro caso, participó en la celebración de una boda amenizando y dándole ese toque especial a la ceremonia con su voz. Los novios e invitados, que no sabían de esta sorpresa, quedaron encantados y gratamente sorprendidos. Muchas gracias por todo Pamela ."

"Naomi was such a fantastic and talented lady. In the leas up to the wedding she was really sweet and responsive and made me feel like she was genuinely excited about playing our wedding. When the day came she was even better than I had hoped. She played the ceremony in an acoustic way and switched to her electric violin whilst my guests had canapés and drinks and we had so many comments about how amazing she was. Not only talented and fun and energetic but how she was also very sweet and friendly with our guests. Absolutely fabulous all around and I really hope to have her for parties for us in the future. 100% recommended. Thank you Naomi xx"

"Ottimo connubio di Corde romantiche in un'atmosfera prettamente latina senza età. Corde vibranti dalle magistrali dita di Carlo Calderano e dalle altrettanti Corde vocali modulate e interpretate dalla splendida interprete Valentina Rambelli."

"Federico García Lorca wrote the lyrics, recovered the songs and left his echoes for others to set to music. From the romancero gitano and other airs along other paths of rhythm, this encounter between the lyrical voice of Candelaria de la Serena and the cante and flamencura of Antonio Harana illuminates like moonbeams. Ana Pérez-Muñoz with her violoncello, Rodrigo Mialdea's sonanta and Cristina Morales's precise and effective golpes adorn the landscape, giving it symphony, character and soniquete. Eugenio Gurumeta marks the hour of truth and Irina Kouberskaya and Hugo Pérez de la Pica add their mark of quality and difference. -Artistic Cast : Palabras de Cantares (Musical Echoes of Lorca) Candelaria de la Serena lyrical voice Antonio Harana flamenco vocals Rodrigo Mialdea flamenco guitar Ana Pérez-Muñoz cello Cristina Morales percussion *Produced by Eugenio Gurumeta with the masterly guidance of Irina Kouberskaya and Hugo Pérez de la Pica"

"There’s a local connection to this marvellous presentation of Andalusian culture. Daniel Martinez studied flamenco guitar from the age of seven in his native Cordoba and played in the city’s tablaos before moving to the UK in 2015 and establishing his guitar school in Edinburgh. His flamenco troupe has two Scottish guitarists and one of this production’s pieces expresses the happiness Martinez has found in Scotland but the music and movement are undiluted Andalusia. The venue even obliged with Andalusian temperatures, making dancer Gabriela Pouso’s intense and astonishingly precise footwork all the more admirable. There’s music in Pouso’s feet and her close coordination with Martinez’ brilliantly nimble and massively colourful musicianship would have been worth the ticket price alone. That, though, would have robbed us of the fantastically expressive singing and the violinist's superb articulation with his bow. The concert began quietly, with Martinez playing alone, soulfully evoking a calm before the storm. And what a storm: three guitars in intricate partnership, violin and voices soaring as the singers added typically urgent and musical hand clapping and Pouso embodying the music’s vibrant physical presence. Bravo indeed."

"“Exquisite” ★★★★½ Fringefeed, 2023 The percussive sounds and swirling skirts of Flamenco Sol was the perfect way to spend a very warm Perth summer evening. From the first moment of darkness, when the two dancers (Maree Laffan and Valeria Gonzalez) appear tapping with canes and their heels, to the final number, I was riveted by the quality and passion these performers evinced for the art form. I'm certain few in the audience left the auditorium not wanting to take up Flamenco themselves. Aire Flamenco are a Perth based ensemble founded by Maree Laffan, specialising in presenting traditional flamenco. The two principal dancers mentioned above, were accompanied by the exquisite guitar picking and playing of Justin Kutylowski, the percussive master Marcus Perrozzi and the sublime Raquel Avellan on vocals (who also did some dancing - and so she should, she has a PhD in the form). Flamenco is a culture as much as an art, which has evolved through time and place to become a trove of riches that yet, is still connected to the streets, homes and bars. This performance acts as a primer to the culture, demonstrating some of the many styles of dance, music and song (and not always together) that typify flamenco, making you only crave more. And yes, there are castanets. Lucky for us in Perth, Aire Flamenco are local, so the chances are good. But I would suggest you get in to see this show now, and you'll even find yourself participating in an amusing number."

"Pablo was fantastic. He provided a list of songs he could play, but also welcomed requests from us so that the music was personal to us. The songs we chose may not have traditionally been associated with Spanish Guitar, but Pablo worked his magic, and his arrangements were lovely (and even brought a tear to the eye of one very unemotional groom…lol)."
