Ed Wren is an exciting young pianist accomplished across the whole musical spectrum – from jazz, through pop, rock, and soul, to classical – available for hire for weddings, parties, corporate events, and recording sessions. He can enhance the ambiance of any occasion with his rich and melodic playing.
Ed attained a distinction in his ATCL classical piano diploma in 2013, and graduated with a First in Music from the University of Oxford in 2015. In the last five years he has acquired a wealth of experience playing solo piano for private events, as well as in jazz piano trios and wedding party bands across the south of England. He has also recorded sessions with numerous up-and-coming singer songwriters.
Ed would love to hear from you about playing for your event. He can tailor his setlist according to the style and mood of the occasion, and can learn a request song. He can provide his own equipment (a Nord stage piano keyboard and Roland amp) or use a piano at the venue.
