Find the right heavy metal band from 95 professional acts available for hire. These bands average 5 out of 5 across 27 reviews from real clients. Metal groups and hard rock acts start from $95, with an average booking price of $500.
Metal acts suit wedding receptions, birthday parties and corporate events, and most will scale their volume to the room rather than playing a club set in a hotel function suite. The stronger acts also carry an acoustic or stripped-back option for the earlier, quieter part of the day.

Heavy metal covers a wide span, from thrash and classic metal through to metalcore and hard rock, and acts range from four-piece bands playing originals to groups built entirely around well-known material. What separates them for private events is usually not technical ability but adaptability: how well they read a mixed room, and whether they can pull the volume back when the venue or the hour demands it.
Metal acts provide more than just music - they create an atmosphere of excitement and engagement that gets crowds moving. Many bands combine elements from related genres, drawing inspiration from classic rock bands or incorporating acoustic elements similar to acoustic bands during quieter moments. Some groups specialize as cover bands performing beloved metal classics, while others blend metal with alternative bands influences for a more contemporary sound.
The most common reason a metal booking goes wrong is sound, not performance. Many hotels and civil venues run a noise limiter that cuts the power when it trips, and a drum kit alone can breach a low limit before the guitars are plugged in. Raise the limit figure with the act at enquiry stage: experienced bands will offer electronic drums, smaller amps or a reduced line-up rather than turn the booking down. Outdoor and marquee events have the opposite problem, needing more PA than a room of the same capacity.
While metal is most associated with club venues, it adapts well to private celebrations. Rock-loving couples increasingly choose metal acts for wedding receptions, often pairing a heavier evening set with something gentler for the ceremony. Birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and corporate events all take the high-energy performances these groups deliver, and hard rock acts do well at charity fundraisers and themed nights where organisers want a distinctive atmosphere.
Expect between $95 and $2,550+ depending on band size, performance duration and travel, with most standard events landing around $500. Larger line-ups with heavier equipment needs sit at the top of the range, while a stripped-back hard rock act comes in lower without much loss of impact.

Avenged Sevenfold European Tribute
"Danger Line is just an awsome live band. Very professional, great sound, great live show, with an animated video that visually supports the show.
Fire effects and much more. Go see them, its more then worth it.
Also for any booking agency a win win situation. Two thumbs up !! 👍👍"
Everlong Echoes
"This Foo Fighters cover band nailed it! From the first chord to the final encore, the energy was off the charts. Spot-on vocals, killer guitar work, and dead on rhythm section. The crowd was on fire. If you’re a Foos fan, this is the closest you’ll get to the real thing. Can’t wait for the next gig!"
Biker Band
"The Kings’ regulars are probably the luckiest people in Lincolnshire, maybe even the East Midlands! Not only do they have fabulous hosts in Richard and Sharon, they also provide the best music free of charge every weekend and they don’t come much better than the Bikers Band wherever you may go.
Quiet and staid does not exist in their vocabulary, Mister-Pink is power funk, rock and blues at its very best covering the likes of Cream, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones but also mixing in their own songs in a seamless blend of quality entertainment. I asked Simon for his set list after the gig and do you know what the response was? “What set list? We just play what the audience like!” Believe me there are not many bands that can make such a confident statement.
How many encores did we have? I lost count, the holiday weekend busy bar wanted more so The Bikers Band duly provided. Of course we must not forget the superb bass playing of Jules and Balding Bloke was in his element sound engineering when the drummer let rip with a storming drum solo. I don’t know what they feed them on in Norfolk however it seems to be an excellent diet for drummers!
Now here’s a teaser for you…whilst we were clearing up afterwards I happened to mention that he’d forgotten to use his harmonica. That was it, straight to his kit and “Not Fade Away” commenced, The bassist struck up his acoustic guitar and the remaining customers and bar staff all immediately broke into song…Most likely we won’t see these guys again until next year, that’s going to be an awful long wait for many of us! ~ gig reviewer - Lincolnshire Press"
Back in Scott
"Back in Scott (AC/DC Experience) - visiting from Ireland, the band performed in Combourg, France in June 2026. Best, most committed Bon Scott cover band I have yet seen. Long live Breton Rockers."
