About / Biography

I trained at the Royal Academy of Music, London and have a vast experience as a professional opera singer, having performed regularly in venues such as the Royal opera house in Madrid and Spain's National Auditorium. I'm a versatile singer offering a varied range from traditional folk songs to classical and contemporary and I am able to accompany myself at the piano. Bilingual in Spanish, I may offer an International programme with songs in French, Spanish, German and Italian as well as English.

I can also co-ordinate a programme with other musicians and singers as requested having worked with some of the finest performers in Spain and the UK. Whether it's for a concert, a ceremony or other event, just let me know your requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

I have many happy memories and feel so privileged to be able to do what I do, so every event is special. Whether it's going and performing in the town I grew up in, performing premiers of past or living composers, or singing at special events such as weddings, I always feel a surge of joy. But if I had to pick it would be because I love history, so performing in incredible venues such as the Alhambra, the Madrid Opera House, palaces and museums have been truly amazing experiences.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started singing when I was very young and my first experience on stage was in musicals, playing a princess in the King and I when I was about 10 and Dulcie in the Boyfriend when I was 16. I also played cornet in the local band, sang with various choirs and attempted keyboards in a school jazz band. In fact, I can't remember a time when music wasn't an important part of my life.

Performance Info

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?
