Samba de Maria Bossa-nova, Samba , relax or dance, the best music for the most romantic events

SAMBA DE MARIA is a band of professional musicians from St.Petersburg, Russia. They take the audience by storm all over the Europe, they have fans in Brazil, Japan, USA. The musicians share live acoustic sound of bossa-nova in Portugues and English languages, they present sensuous and passionate improvisations. The band plays famous bossa-nova songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim,Jorge Ben Jor, Luiz Bonfa and other well-known brazilian composers in modern arrangements where you can find jazz-fusion, funk, samba, swing .

Members:
Maria Ilina - is a professional jazz singer, laureate of many festivals and vocal contests, Leader vocalist and soul of Samba de Maria band. Maria has many fans in Brazil where she was singing in the beginning of 2016. Maria is the only author in Russia who writes her own songs in Portuguese language.

Maxim Shishaev - is a professional jazz guitarist, composer, laureate of David Goloschekin’s jazz contest (Saint Petersburg). Maxim has his own romantic style in jazz improvisation and he is the author of all the arrangements of Samba de Maria.

Vladimir Shalnev - is a professional bass and double-bass player. He also plays in well-known jazz-bands of St.Petersburg (Ru) and Finland.

Yoel Gonzalez - is a famous cuban percussionist , one of the best percussionist of the World (top-100 world rating), he participated in many native and international projects, organized several ensembles aligned to perform Afro-Cuban dance music.
