NAME OF BAND: SLAM JAM MUSIC FACTORY. The band started in 1993. So this year the Band is 30 years old. The band's founder and Manager is Derek Hendriks who is still running the happenings of the band.

SITUATED: Near the foot of the popular Zwartberge in a town called Prince Albert in the Central Karoo in the Western Cape Province in South-Africa.

MUSIC STYLE: The Band is a Cover and Original Band. We play all kinds of genres of music and always live. Specializes mostly in Jazz(Old School, Modern,
Progressive, Commercial); R&B & Soul; Rock; Pop; Hip-Hop; Disco; African; Ballroom; Langarm and Afrikaans and most of the band’s original songs are written by Derek Hendriks and well-being performed by himself.

PERFORMANCES: Slam Jam performs at Clubs, Weddings, 21st birthdays, Casino’s, Hotels & Bars, Anniversaries, Parties, Birthday Parties, Festivals, Private Parties; Pool parties, Ballroom Functions, Cruise Ships and Showroom Theatre's. The band perform all over the world.
