The Toke Duo is the meeting of two concert guitarists with vast international experience. Miguel Fernandez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, of spanish family. Francisco Dri was born in Rome from an argentine family of great Tango and folcloric musical tradition.
Each in his musical training was able to assimilate since young the most characteristic popular styles of their land origins.
On this happy formula musicians from different backgrounds, in a careful blend together create an unusual repertoire of great virtuosity, which spaces from Argentine Tango and folclore, Gypsy Rumba, international and brazilian hits, neapolitan, balkan and Spanish avant-garde concert flamenco. El Toke duo represents a suitable formula for acoustic aperitifs, weddings, dinners, concerts and culture events, private events, meetings, conventions, with a tailored ad hoc repertoire to satisfy any request.
If required El Toke also performs with a percussionist, or eventually with samples loop pedalboard.
