What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know the directions to the venue and where to unload our equipment. For Video Mixing if the venue has tv screens or monitors and if WIFI is available.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we provide professional sound and lighting equipment for every gig as well as our own PA system.


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely!!


Can you handle different music preferences at one event?

Absolutely. I’m experienced in mixing multiple genres including R&B, hip hop, reggae, disco, house, and pop. I take requests when appropriate and balance them with the overall flow of the event so everyone hears something they enjoy.


What type of equipment do you use?

I use professional-grade equipment including Mackie 15” powered speakers, an 18” subwoofer, wireless microphones, and a digital DJ controller. My setup delivers clear, powerful sound suitable for both small and large events.


How do you ensure sound quality at different venues?

I assess each venue in advance and adjust my setup accordingly. I balance audio levels, monitor acoustics, and test equipment before the event starts to ensure optimal sound quality throughout the space.


Do you have backup equipment in case of technical issues?

Yes, I always come prepared with backup equipment including microphones, cables, and music sources. Reliability is important to me, so I make sure there are no interruptions during your event.


Can you accommodate special requests like karaoke or video mixing?

Yes, I provide optional add-ons such as karaoke with a monitor and microphones, as well as video mixing when requested. I customize my services based on the client’s vision.

One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had was DJing last-minute at a hotel in Myrtle Beach for a group attending a 3-day retreat. What started as a spontaneous opportunity turned into an unforgettable after-party—I ended up spinning in the hotel lobby and bringing everyone together through music. Weddings and good old house parties are hands-down my favorite events to DJ. There’s nothing like the energy, the emotion, and the connection that comes from those special moments. Whether it’s a couple’s big day or a packed-out living room with friends dancing all night, I love being the one who keeps the vibe alive and the music flowing.


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I began DJing after experiencing a personal loss—it became a way for me to heal, cope, and find purpose again. Music has always been a part of my life thanks to my dad, who was also a DJ. Through him, I learned the craft, the culture, and the power music has to bring people together. What started as therapy quickly grew into a passion, and now I bring that same energy, emotion, and joy to every event I play.

DJ Jazzy Jeff has been a huge inspiration throughout my journey as a DJ. His career, spanning decades, is a testament to his unmatched skill and deep knowledge of the craft. His ability to connect with any crowd and keep the energy alive is something I strive to bring to every performance. He’s the kind of DJ I look up to, and his legacy continues to guide and influence my work.

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I require a minimum of 2 hours for setup to ensure all equipment is properly installed, tested, and performance-ready. After the event, teardown typically takes about 1 hour.

A space for DJ equipment
