I'm a young musician with a lot of experience playing in orchestras, bands, small ensembles, and solos. In addition to being able to play a lot of instruments, I am an accomplished composer/arranger with originals and adaptations for any occasion.
I offer singles on violin and piano, preludes and postludes on the organ or piano, and I am more than happy to play in an ensemble.

I take up as little space as possible, with no chairs, and I bring a stand. A violin isn't particularly loud, so for a larger audience I would need a microphone and a way to connect to the sound system.
I need the name and address of the venue and some small spot to fit my case and gear. Once there, you can direct me to where I'll be playing.
I played violin for the show "Hello, Dolly!" at the Scera Shell musical theater in Orem, in the pit orchestra backstage. Such a great show with fun music, with an orchestra reveal at the end that was rather rewarding every time.
I appreciate many different events, but I like best to play in an authentic ensemble for weddings, dances, and private events.
I've had the opportunity to play in local bands, choirs, orchestras, and other ensembles that got me hooked on music. My violin teacher started me off on gigging when she needed a rest from playing, and since then I've loved getting to play for whatever I can.
Hard to say (especially considering most of my repertoire is by my old friend Anon E. Mouse, if you catch my meaning). I think I'd have to go with John Williams; his pieces are always innovative, recognizable, beautiful, and showing a widespread of genius, from Schindler's List to Devil's Dance.
It's been rather a long journey. I am told – since I don't remember from that long ago! – that my grandmother commented that I had a really good ear for music, and that I should start playing violin, as well as my older brother. It turned out that my good ear(s) was from having perfect pitch, which made picking up instruments almost a natural ability, and later one of the contributing factors to how easily I can compose and arrange music.
How it works:
You choose a song list or suggestions, and feel free to include as many pieces as you'd like, whether they're in the sample or not.
Choose a duration time for the set, and how many sets you want.
I'll work with you on refining further details at that point.
I typically perform two or so 40 minute sets, but can stretch it either way to suit the venue. If an acoustic solo performance is desired, I typically set up in less than 5 minutes. If you want me hooked up to a sound system, then I'll arrive about 30 minutes early.
I'm happy to play outside, as long as conditions aren't damaging to instruments. I avoid conditions with snow, rain, and temperatures below 50 Fahrenheit.
I make for a good sight–reader and can play just about anything thrown at me, but I typically arrange most of the music. If you want a custom arrangement of a specific piece for the event, I charge from $10 to $100 depending on complexity.
Simply. First, you give me the name of the piece and any specifications you'd like – usually style and performance information, and then give me a preferred time range (normally between 1 and 5 minutes). We can finalize payment and any other details, and I'm reasonably fast at arranging – only a few working hours per piece – and then I can learn it quickly for your event. Prices will be based off how difficult (time spent) arranging the piece is, how long the piece is, and whether or not I can reuse it for other events.
