About / Biography

As a professional organist in the Principality of Monaco, I offer live music services for weddings, concerts, church masses, and funeral ceremonies, both religious and civil. With extensive experience in sacred and classical repertoire, I ensure each performance is elegant, heartfelt, and perfectly suited to the occasion. My goal is to create an atmosphere of beauty and reflection through music — whether it’s the grandeur of a wedding procession, the intimacy of a memorial service, or the solemnity of a religious mass.

I can perform both solo or in collaboration with other professional musicians such as a violinist or a soprano, enriching the musical experience with harmonies and expressive melodies. The repertoire can range from classical masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, and Schubert to modern and sacred compositions, always adapted to the preferences of the family or event organizers.

Each service is personalized with great care and professionalism, offering the Principality of Monaco the finest in live organ music for every meaningful moment.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

As an organist, my basic technical requirements depend on the type of ceremony or event. Ideally, the venue should provide a well-maintained pipe or digital organ with at least two manuals (keyboards) and a pedalboard in full working order.
If no organ is available, I can bring a professional digital keyboard or stage piano with amplification. In that case, I’ll need:
A power outlet near the performance area.
A stable bench or table for the instrument.
If possible, access to the venue 30–45 minutes before the event for setup and sound check.
When performing with other musicians (such as a violinist or soprano), we may also need a music stand and enough space to perform comfortably near the instrument.

What information do you require about a venue?

To prepare properly for a performance, I usually require some basic information about the venue. This helps ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the music fits the space perfectly.
I generally need to know:
Whether there is a pipe organ or digital organ available, and its type, condition, and location within the venue.
If no organ is available, whether there is space and power access for a portable digital piano or keyboard.
The layout of the venue, especially where the musicians will be positioned in relation to the audience or altar.
The acoustic characteristics of the space (for example, whether it is highly resonant or needs amplification).
The schedule of the event, including rehearsal time and when the venue will be open for setup.
The contact person on site (such as the event coordinator, priest, or manager).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of the most memorable performances of my career was a wedding ceremony in Monte Carlo, held in a beautiful historic church overlooking the sea. The atmosphere was truly unique — the organ’s sound filled the space with warmth and depth, perfectly complementing the soprano and violinist who performed with me. The couple had chosen a refined repertoire, including pieces by Bach, Schubert, and Morricone, which made the ceremony deeply emotional and unforgettable.

What's your favourite type of event?

My favourite type of event is one where music truly becomes part of the atmosphere — where it helps people feel and remember the moment. I particularly love performing at weddings and sacred ceremonies, because the organ’s sound adds a deep emotional and spiritual dimension to those occasions.
At weddings, I enjoy creating a sense of beauty and celebration through elegant and expressive music. At funerals or memorial services, I find great meaning in offering comfort and reflection through peaceful and solemn pieces.
Whether it’s a concert, a mass, or a private ceremony, I appreciate every opportunity to share the expressive power of the organ and to connect with people through music.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I began studying the organ and piano at a young age and later earned my degree in organ performance from the conservatory. Over the years, I’ve performed in churches, cathedrals, and concert halls across Italy and abroad, accompanying weddings, funerals, religious services, and classical concerts.

My first gigs came naturally through my work in local churches, where I started playing for regular Masses and ceremonies. From there, word of mouth led to more requests for weddings and special events, and gradually I built a professional career as a freelance organist and pianist.

Today, I collaborate with sopranos, violinists, and other musicians, offering live music for both religious and civil ceremonies. Each performance is a chance to bring elegance, emotion, and professionalism to an important moment in people’s lives.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

As an organist, I’ve been deeply influenced by the great masters of classical and sacred music — Johann Sebastian Bach, above all, for his spiritual depth and perfect balance between harmony and architecture. I also admire César Franck and Olivier Messiaen, whose music explores profound emotion and mysticism through sound and color.
Among contemporary artists, I appreciate composers like Ennio Morricone for the way he combines simplicity, beauty, and emotional power — qualities that I always try to bring into my own performances.
If I had to choose a single favourite artist, it would be Bach, because his music speaks directly to both the intellect and the soul. And for me, the greatest piece of all time is his Toccata and Fugue in D minor, a masterpiece that captures the essence of the organ — majestic, spiritual, and timeless.

Do you collaborate with other musicians?

Yes, I frequently collaborate with other professional musicians, such as sopranos, violinists, flutists, and choirs. Working with additional musicians allows me to create a richer and more expressive musical experience, whether for weddings, concerts, or religious ceremonies. I carefully coordinate repertoire, timing, and dynamics to ensure a seamless and harmonious performance. Collaborations also allow for customized arrangements tailored to the client’s preferences, adding a unique and elegant touch to every event.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

My setup and performance times depend on the type of event and the instrument available.
For ceremonies or concerts where an organ is already present, setup is usually very quick — I typically arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the event to check the instrument, adjust registration, and warm up.
If I’m bringing my own digital piano or keyboard, I usually need about 45 to 60 minutes for setup, sound check, and tuning the balance with other musicians, such as a soprano or violinist.
Performance times vary depending on the event:
Weddings: around 30–60 minutes of live music during the ceremony.
Funerals or memorials: about 30–45 minutes.
Concerts or special events: 45–90 minutes, depending on the program.
Punctuality and preparation are always a priority — I make sure everything is ready in advance so that the music begins smoothly and on time.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors when the conditions are suitable. For open-air ceremonies or events, I can provide a professional digital piano or keyboard with amplification, ensuring a rich and balanced sound even outside a church or concert hall.
However, to protect the instrument and guarantee the best performance quality, I do require:
A covered or shaded area, protected from direct sunlight, wind, or rain.
Access to a power outlet near the performance space.
A flat and stable surface for setting up the instrument and equipment.
Outdoor performances can be truly special — the natural setting often adds warmth and beauty to the music — as long as the practical conditions allow for good sound and safety.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients absolutely have a say in what I play. While I have a wide repertoire of classical, sacred, and contemporary pieces, I always work with each client to choose the music that best fits their ceremony or event.
For weddings, funerals, or special events, I can suggest pieces that are traditional, modern, or custom-tailored, and I’m happy to learn specific requests whenever possible. My goal is to create a personalized and meaningful musical experience that reflects the client’s preferences while maintaining elegance and professional quality.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients most commonly describe my performances as elegant, emotional, and highly professional. They often comment on the way the music enhances the atmosphere of the event, whether it’s a wedding, a funeral, a religious service, or a concert.
Many clients appreciate my attention to detail, timing, and adaptability, as well as the ability to collaborate smoothly with other musicians, such as a violinist or soprano, to create a seamless and moving experience. Overall, people say that my music adds a touch of beauty and refinement, making each occasion truly memorable.
