Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

My journey as a pianist has taken me across the seas, performing on numerous cruise ships and exploring every continent. This incredible experience allowed me to connect with wonderful people from diverse cultures and backgrounds worldwide. Performing for international audiences of all ages on cruise ships honed my ability to craft a versatile and dynamic repertoire, encompassing classical, jazz, pop, and global music styles. This adaptability ensures that my performances resonate with any audience, making me the perfect choice for a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. My global travels and interactions have not only enriched my music but also my ability to create a warm, inclusive, and unforgettable atmosphere at every performance.

What's your favourite type of event?

"My favorite type of event is any where I get to perform! I love the energy of meeting new people, traveling to different places, and watching the crowd dance or have fun to my music. Those moments when everyone’s enjoying themselves and connecting through the music are what make events so special to me."

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

"I started gigging at 14, playing in cafes and restaurants while studying. Later, I performed with various artists and cover bands, recorded keyboards in studios, and spent significant time performing on cruise ships in different setups—solo, duets, and orchestras of 8-12 musicians."

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Stevie Wonder is one of my favourite artists , but I also like listening some jazz pianists like Bill Evans or Michelle Petrucciani

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

my setup is straightforward: a digital piano or acoustic piano provided by the venue, connected to a small PA system if needed for larger spaces. I occasionally use a sustain pedal and minimal effects for ambiance. Setup takes about 15-30 minutes. Performance times are typically 1-2 hours, often split into sets of 45-60 minutes with short breaks, depending on the venue or event."

Are you happy to perform outside?

"I'm happy to perform outside as long as the conditions are reasonable—comfortable temperature, a canopy or roof in case of rain, and shade if it's very hot."

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

My clients can choose from my set repertoire or request specific songs or genres, like jazz or Beatles hits. I’ll tailor the performance to your preferences, and a reasonable number of custom song requests can be included in the fee

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

My dear clients say “your performances are 'like a cozy musical hug, perfectly hitting all the right notes!'”They’re thrilled by the song choices and secretly hope that I’m taking requests for their shower karaoke sessions too.. :)
