"Just about to embark on our honeymoon cruise but wanted to say a huge thank you for playing at our wedding at Crathorne Hall on Friday. We had a wonderful day in which you played a huge part. Everyone loved the music and even the hotel staff said you were the best band they had had play there in the past few years!!! The whole day was fantastic but the culmination with your orchestra absolutely topped off the day – FABULOUS. STUNNING!!!!!"

"Our experience was amazing. The guys turned up on time, set up quickly, we're great to chat with, and their musicianship was wonderful. Everyone commented on how good the music was - and there was only 2 of them! Really impressed, wouldn't hesiatate to recommened them to anyone else. "Mr Swing’s Dance Orchestra made our wedding! We thought our special day couldn’t get any better after we exchanged our vows and heard the kind words from our family but, as soon as we heard the music, I knew that the band would leave an impact on our guests. I did not stop dancing all night! We truly enjoyed every moment of the band’s set and all our guests have commented on how wonderful they were. Really wish we could have had them longer. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Matthew and the rest of the band for making our wedding magical. All our love, Mr & Mrs Colbeck."

At 95 years old, Fischbacher is nothing short of a living legend, and his wit, charm, and unparalleled energy made for an unforgettable experience. Known as “the world’s loudest clarinet player,” Fischbacher more than lived up to his reputation. His booming renditions of classic jazz standards filled the room with a vigor that belied his age. At one point, he even shouted his catch phrase, “Oompah!” to the delight of the audience. The masterclass itself was equal parts education and entertainment. Fischbacher peppered his teaching with captivating anecdotes from his days in the 1950s jazz scene. His tales of smoky clubs, impromptu jam sessions, and larger-than-life characters were as colorful as his clarinet playing. "We listen to a lot of live music and Girl Friday are one of our favourite bands, Michelle and the boys are ultimate professionals, their music ranges from swing, to blues, Latin and they make a lot of popular music their own. We love doing their Friday night Sun Set Cruises Jazz cruise out of Mooloolaba and we often catch their Eat Street, Toowoomba and Warwick 'Jumpers and Jazz' gigs. Great band to listen and dance to! "
