We require access to a reliable power supply (minimum 2 x 13A sockets or equivalent) within 10 meters of the performance area, plus a flat, dry, and stable space to set up our equipment. For outdoor events, full cover/shelter from direct sunlight or rain is essential.

We ask for details on the venue layout, access points for loading equipment, available parking, power supply locations, performance area size, and any venue sound or lighting restrictions. If the venue has a sound limiter, we’ll need to know its settings in advance.

Yes – we provide all professional-grade sound and lighting equipment required for your event. This includes ceremony audio, wireless microphones, high-quality speakers, and a full lighting setup for the evening reception.

Absolutely – we can provide curated background music or a Spotify playlist of your choice before and between live sets, ensuring there’s never a moment without the perfect soundtrack.

The best gig we’ve ever done has to be a stunning same-sex wedding at the Vidamar Hotel. The energy was electric from start to finish – the dance floor was alive with club and dance anthems spanning the decades, and everyone was up celebrating together. The couple had an absolute blast, and so did we – it was one of those nights where the music, atmosphere, and joy all came together perfectly.

Our favourite type of event is a wedding where the couple and guests are truly ready to celebrate from the first moment to the last. We love events with a packed dance floor, big sing-alongs, and a mix of timeless classics and high-energy party anthems that bring everyone together. Those nights where the atmosphere is electric and every smile is genuine are what we live for.

Pulse Entertainment Portugal began by providing professional ceremony audio to support my wife’s work as a wedding celebrant here in the Algarve. From there, our services naturally grew to include evening DJ sets, event hosting, and full-day entertainment packages as couples loved having everything seamlessly handled by one team.

Personally, I’ve been involved in events and entertainment for decades, with a background as a professional photographer and a passion for music and creating unforgettable experiences. We started gigging at weddings and private events across the Algarve, quickly building a reputation for keeping the energy high, the atmosphere perfect, and the dance floor full all night.

I’ve been influenced by a mix of iconic artists who know how to get a crowd moving, from 80’s legends like **Queen, Michael Jackson, and Depeche Mode**, to 90’s and 00’s dance pioneers such as **Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, and Daft Punk**, right through to today’s chart-topping names like **David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia**.

If I had to choose a favourite artist, it would be **David Guetta** – his ability to create anthems that unite generations on the dance floor is unmatched.

As for the greatest song of all time? For me, it has to be **“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen** – it’s pure joy, irresistible energy, and works every single time, no matter the crowd or generation. But I also tag team with another Pulse DJ who just loves to play House, he takes the energy even higher once he takes over my opening set

We work closely with each couple or event organiser to create a playlist that reflects their tastes, includes their must-play songs, and avoids any “do not play” tracks. While we read the crowd and keep the energy flowing on the night, the music is always tailored to suit the client’s style and vision, not just a fixed set list.
