I am a destination wedding celebrant based in Sicily, creating personal, heartfelt ceremonies for couples from around the world.
With a background in filmmaking, screenwriting, and storytelling, I approach every ceremony as a unique story to be discovered and shared. I take the time to get to know each couple, understand their journey, their personalities, their values, and the moments that have shaped their relationship. From these details, I create a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful, and completely personal.
My ceremonies are warm, natural, and engaging. They can be romantic and emotional, but they can also include humour, lightness, and the small details that make a couple’s relationship truly their own. My aim is never to deliver a generic script, but to create a ceremony in which the couple and their guests can genuinely recognise themselves.
I conduct ceremonies in English, Italian, and Spanish, making my service particularly suitable for international and multicultural weddings in Sicily. I can also create bilingual ceremonies, carefully balancing both languages so that every guest feels included and connected to the moment.
Couples may choose to include personal vows, readings, ring exchanges, family participation, or symbolic rituals such as handfasting, unity candles, unity sand, and the watering of a bonsai olive tree. Every element is selected and adapted according to the couple’s wishes and the atmosphere they want to create.
Whether you are planning an intimate elopement, a symbolic ceremony in a private villa, or a larger destination wedding surrounded by family and friends, I will guide you through the entire creative process. Together, we will create a ceremony that reflects who you are, celebrates your story, and becomes one of the most meaningful moments of your wedding day.
I bring a lavalier microphone that should be connected to an audio system.
We begin with an initial video call to discuss your plans and make sure I am the right celebrant for you. Once the date is secured, I get to know you through conversations and personal questions about your story, personalities, values, and vision for the ceremony. I then write a completely tailored script, which we review together before the wedding day.
Yes. I conduct ceremonies in English, Italian, and Spanish, including bilingual ceremonies designed so that guests speaking different languages can all feel included without making the ceremony repetitive or excessively long.
Absolutely. Guests may participate through readings, music, blessings, symbolic rituals, or personal contributions. I will help integrate their involvement naturally into the ceremony.
Yes. I create ceremonies for large destination weddings, intimate gatherings, and private elopements with only the couple present. The ceremony will still be personal and meaningful, regardless of the number of guests.
Most personalised symbolic ceremonies last approximately 25 to 40 minutes, depending on the number of readings, rituals, languages, and participants involved.
Yes, a ceremony rehearsal can be arranged upon request. It can be especially helpful when the ceremony includes several participants, symbolic rituals, readings, or a detailed entrance procession. Depending on the location, timing, and travel required, an additional fee may apply.
Yes, I can officiate civil marriages when authorised by the relevant town hall. The necessary permission must be requested and approved in advance, so it is important to begin the process well before the wedding date.
A symbolic ceremony is not legally binding by itself. Many international couples complete the legal formalities in their home country and hold their personalised wedding ceremony in Sicily.
I recommend agreeing on a suitable backup location with your venue or planner. The ceremony can be adapted to an indoor or covered space while preserving its structure and atmosphere.
Yes. I can guide you through writing personal vows, provide examples and prompts, or help refine what you have written while preserving your own voice.
Not at all. My work is not limited to Palermo or to any particular part of Sicily. I travel throughout the island and have been invited to officiate ceremonies in many different locations over the years. You can call me to celebrate your wedding in Catania, Agrigento, Messina, Caltanissetta, Enna, Ragusa, Siracusa, or anywhere else in Sicily, and I will be there. Travelling to meet couples and celebrate their weddings in the places they have chosen is both an essential part of my work and one of its greatest joys.
