Among the highlights of my career are performances at Blue Note Poznań, Jazz Café Costa Rica, the S1 Studio of Polish Radio, and the renowned Jazz Jamboree Festival in Poland. I have also had the privilege of sharing the stage with outstanding musicians from Poland, Cuba, and other countries.

I especially enjoy performances where I can interact with the audience and adapt my repertoire to the energy of the room — from smooth jazz and Latin jazz during a reception to more dynamic performances that become a highlight of the evening.

I started my professional music career in Cuba, where I studied saxophone at the Amadeo Roldán National Conservatory of Music and began performing in the Cuban jazz scene. One of the most important stages of my early career was playing at La Zorra y El Cuervo, Havana’s legendary jazz club, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with outstanding Cuban and international musicians.

After moving to Costa Rica, I became one of the country’s recognized jazz musicians, performing at festivals, clubs, private events, and cultural projects. I later continued my musical journey in Europe, where I have been working for more than ten years, performing at concerts, corporate events, private celebrations, and prestigious venues such as S1 Studio of Polish Radio, Blue Note Poznań, and Jazz Jamboree Festival.

I have been influenced by many great artists throughout my career, especially musicians who combine technical excellence with a strong personal voice.

My biggest influences include saxophonists such as John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, and Michael Brecker, as well as Latin jazz masters like Paquito D’Rivera and Chucho Valdés. I have also been deeply inspired by Cuban music traditions and artists who brought together jazz, rhythm, and cultural identity.

My favourite artists are those who are able to communicate emotion through their music and create a unique sound that is immediately recognizable. For me, that quality is what makes an artist truly great.

Choosing the greatest song of all time is almost impossible, but one piece that has had a profound impact on me is A Love Supreme by John Coltrane, because of its spiritual depth, creativity, and timeless musical expression.

My typical setup time is approximately 30–45 minutes before the performance, depending on the venue and the equipment required.

For a standard event, my performances usually consist of 2–3 sets of 30–45 minutes each, with breaks in between. The format can be adapted depending on the event schedule, whether it is a cocktail reception, dinner, corporate function, or private celebration.
