I am a Belgium-based multi-instrumentalist, performer, and artistic director specializing in early music, improvisation, and historically informed performance. I perform on baroque violin, viola da gamba, viola d’amore, cello, organ, harpsichord, and modern violin, combining deep research with expressive, vivid stage presence. My work bridges scholarship and performance, bringing Renaissance and Baroque repertoire to life through historically grounded interpretation and creative freedom.
As the founder and collaborator of several ensembles and duo projects, I develop original concert programs that connect early music with folk traditions, improvisation, and cross-cultural influences. Alongside my early music projects, I also perform 20th-century repertoire in a violin–piano duo, exploring lesser-known works and expanding the standard concert canon. My artistic focus often centers on rediscovering forgotten music and presenting it in compelling, contemporary ways.
In addition to performing, I am deeply involved in research and education. My academic interests include music psychology, music therapy, and the relationship between sound, body, and perception. I also design innovative educational concepts for young children, introducing them to live instrumental sound through playful, creative interaction and improvisation.
Beyond the stage, I work on artistic production and visual identity for musical projects, creating concert concepts, promotional materials, and curated programs. My goal is to build meaningful musical experiences — whether in concert halls, festivals, educational settings, or interdisciplinary collaborations — where historical depth meets living creativity.

One of the most memorable performances was a program of early music in a historic church with exceptional acoustics. The atmosphere, the architecture, and the silence of the audience created a truly immersive experience where sound and space became one.
I especially enjoy concerts in intimate venues, festivals, and cultural events where audiences are open to deep listening. I also love creating refined musical atmospheres for elegant private events.
I began performing during my conservatory studies and quickly expanded into ensemble work, solo recitals, and cross-genre collaborations. Since then, I’ve performed internationally in concerts, festivals, educational projects, and curated artistic productions.
I have been deeply influenced by composers such as J.S. Bach and Heinrich Biber, as well as by the early Baroque improvisatory tradition. At the same time, folk music has played an equally important role in shaping my musical language — especially traditional Eastern European and Mediterranean melodies, where ornamentation, rhythm, and spontaneity are central.
It is difficult to name one favourite artist, as my inspiration comes from many worlds: Renaissance polyphony, Baroque architecture of sound, and the raw, direct expressiveness of folk traditions.
As for the greatest piece of all time, Bach’s Chaconne from the Partita in D minor stands as a monumental work — yet in a different way, a simple traditional folk melody can carry just as much emotional depth and timeless beauty.
We usually arrive 60–90 minutes before the performance to set up and soundcheck. Setup time depends on the project and instrumentation (violin solo, duo, or ensemble with continuo instruments such as harpsichord or organ).
Typical performance formats include:
• 1 x 60–75 minutes (concert format)
• 2 x 45 minutes
• 2 x 60 minutes
For receptions, cultural events, or private functions, I can also provide flexible background music sets of 90–120 minutes with short breaks.
All technical requirements are discussed in advance to ensure the best possible acoustic experience. I am happy to adapt the program length and format to suit the event, venue, and audience.
Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors provided there is suitable protection for the instruments (shade, no direct sun or rain), a stable flat surface, and appropriate temperature conditions. Historical instruments require careful handling
Clients are welcome to choose from my repertoire list, suggest preferred composers or styles, or discuss the atmosphere they would like to create. I’m also happy to design a curated program tailored specifically to the event.
Expressive, refined, and атмосферically immersive. Audiences often highlight the depth of interpretation, authenticity of sound, and the unique combination of scholarship and artistic freedom.
