Hello, I’m James, known professionally as The Wedding Man, a highly experienced, empathetic, multilingual wedding celebrant based in Barcelona/Catalonia.

My speciality is creating highly personalised, non-religious wedding and vow renewal ceremonies for couples from all over the world and conducting them with calm authority and warmth to ensure that they feel meaningful and lighthearted in all the right places.

I offer couples the chance to weave an array of ancient and modern ceremonial rituals into the proceedings, like the popular: HANDFASTING / WINE BOX / UNITY CANDLE / SAND MIXING / RING BLESSING ceremonies.

Although based in Barcelona the wedding man is ready and willing to conduct ceremonies absolutely anywhere. To date he has conducted ceremonies all over Spain and the Balearic Islands as well as in Italy, Ireland, France, Germany and Wales!

Regarding his multilingual capabilities… the wedding man is a native English speaker, but perfectly capable of leading ceremonies in English, Spanish, Catalan and French or a mixture of these languages.
