" Unique, talented, mellow DJ! Brian was approachable to talk to, esp. with it being my first time working with a DJ. He was willing to take the time to listen to songs that were important to me and other things about the wedding (actually we had a renewal of vows celebration that was like a wedding). Brian gave great suggestions based on lots of experience. His skills exceed that of others DJ's I've seen -- he's a musician himself too...a really good one! He has a ton of songs to pick from, too; he even pulled out what I'd call dinner versions of a lot of the songs on my playlist for when we were eating (our plan was to have more mellow music during that time). He was friendly and flexible, joining in with 2 other musicians I hired for square/folk dance music. If you're looking for someone who will bring a calm presence, look no further. I've been recommending Brian to several friends. Bonus: he played the music the perfect loudness (as in loud for a party) but comfortable for the ears (you could hold a conversation). I think this contributed to our guests feeling comfortable and smiling the whole time and getting to know each other. I loved that Brian brought equipment for the music to be outdoors at the end when my husband and I danced our special Last Dance on the grass surrounded by family and friends; it was so joyful and fun. "

"Brian did an excellent job at our wedding. We made a list of songs and he added in his own playlist as well as took song requests from friends and family. Brian was laid back and went along with all my last minute ideas, games, and shout-outs! Everyone had a blast!! It was such a fun wedding and we can't thank you enough!"

"Brian was so laid back and easy to work with. He has a long list of available music and recommended playlists, but I asked for a completely custom playlist within a few weeks of the wedding and he made it happen. He also played the jazz piano during the cocktail hour to create a bubbly ambiance without making it difficult for guests to talk and mingle. Everyone raved at how great he was! "

"Really appreciated Brian's thoughtful presence! If you are looking to avoid an obnoxious DJ at your wedding, Brian is your person! Brian was open to the list of music that we compiled. He added when necessary to keep people dancing and he allowed us to make requests! Brian arrived the day of our wedding knowing just what to do for setup and was calm and confident. He was very adaptable to our needs and wishes, he was not just a DJ he set the tone for our wedding!!!"

" Incredibly beautiful vocals and talented pianist! Gal did an incredible job performing at my corporate client's private reception and dinner. In addition to having a beautiful singing voice and mastering the piano, she was extremely professional to work with. She is a great communicator, is reliable and followed through on every detail. "Yiddishkeit Klezmer Ensemble was everything we had hoped for. Communication before the party was always prompt and easy. They offered a variety choices for the size of band to work with our budget. There was a great variety of music to choose from, too. During the party the band really read the crowd, and communicated with us throughout the evening. They shifted with the mood of the party- roving around beforehand as guests were arriving, then playing jazz for the background during dinner, and then after dinner they got our guests up and dancing, teaching them how to do the steps! They are talented, professional, and really fun to work with! Plus they traveled quite far to play for us, with only a nominal travel charge. Highly, highly recommend! "
