"Darren is a brilliant entertainer. We had all ages at our wedding, He totally mesmerised the youngsters, the teenagers were thoroughly entertained and all the other guests wouldn't stop talking about how he made the wedding ring appear in a block of ice!! I can thoroughly recommend Darren. Many thanks again for making our wedding day such a special occasion, we will never forget."

"Joey Emceed our 45th Annivery 70s Hippie Themed party. He was hilarious! While everyone was rocking hippie costumes Joe's showed up as Marty McFly from Back To The Future. And that was just the start of his uniqe humor! Everyone loved him! Wgen he saw a lull in party he was quick to take the stage to liven things up with jokes, games and-- although we had not met before our party-- funny stories he gathered from brief phone interview with me. That night my husband and I, along with many of our guests, joined the long list of Fans of Joey The Italian Scarecrow! Later we enjoyed one of Joey's ZOOM Stand-Up Comedy Nights and hired him a 2nd time to emcee our 50th Anniversary and even though The Pandemic put the fire out on our original plans, Joey made a total success of our ZOOM party. He allowed plenty of visiting but was always on the ready with jokes and hilarious videos of himself performing stand-up and routines performed by himself and partner in crime and life-- his lovely and funny wife Steph. Hire them for your next event before the line gets too long!!! You won't regret it!"

"Jay handled an excited bunch of 12 year old boys really well. The tricks and magic were well pitched and received some 'oooohs' and 'aaaahhhhs'. Jay arrived early and set up and packed away quickly and was lovely and friendly. It was super easy to organise everything via Messenger and he was flexible and reliable. Definitely recommend him."

"Florian was perfect from start to finish. The first phone call was of great quality; on the day of the event, he arrived right on time. He immediately blended in with the guests, performing close-up magic during the cocktail, table-to-table tricks, and a grand finale with everyone gathered around him. It was excellent — everyone loved it! He even stayed longer than planned. A huge thank-you to him. Bravo! I highly, highly recommend him! "Great Santa Our experience was the best ever! I am from Baltimore and I have a grandson, age 5, who still believes in Santa. I ordered a Santa to keep the joyful spirit of Ol' Saint Nick alive. .. and that he was! The hit of the party! He was very prompt, had a great sense of humor, very playful, kind and very caring. Yesterday I got fed both spiritually and materially at Soweto’s Just Badela eatery when I attended a heart-warming joint jazz presentation by Just Badela & ‘EXPRESSIONS by Siphiwe Mhlambi’ – the latter is an event series that capture the soul of jazz through Mhlambi’s evocative photography that blends rhythm and emotion into his every frame. I can right now without any whiff of doubt declare that the event lived up to its brand promise of delivering “an unforgettable afternoon with the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli, the master of double bass and a pioneer in South African jazz” to a full-house sit-down audience. (Indeed I) experience(d) the soul-stirring melodies and rich rhythms that have captured audiences around the world.” Nico Phooko was drawing inspiration from the music and the soul-caressing ambience by live painting a piece that will become a new addition to his “Notes & Strokes” series. The MC was Ngwako Malakalaka from Kofifi FM. We had the opportunity to witness Mhlambi autographing copies of our recently published book, “Rhythms in Black & White: A Virtual Journey Through the World of Jazz”, to happy revellers. Another illustrious author/publisher, Sam Mathe, manned a table selling his book too, “From Kippie to Kippies And Beyond”, on whose pages live our musicians. We do appreciate the platform that Just Badela provides to independent publishing and art . "
