I'm from Maroc and my husband is from America, and i really love Bellydance because i have it in my culture. She bring us literally to Egypt with her dance! "Hanna performed at our family event with around 50 guests, and she was absolutely fantastic. She is fun, highly entertaining, and very professional. All our guests loved her, and she did an amazing job making everyone feel involved and engaged throughout the event. She created a great atmosphere and kept everyone interacting and smiling. "“Exquisite” ★★★★½ Fringefeed, 2023 The percussive sounds and swirling skirts of Flamenco Sol was the perfect way to spend a very warm Perth summer evening. From the first moment of darkness, when the two dancers (Maree Laffan and Valeria Gonzalez) appear tapping with canes and their heels, to the final number, I was riveted by the quality and passion these performers evinced for the art form. I'm certain few in the audience left the auditorium not wanting to take up Flamenco themselves. Aire Flamenco are a Perth based ensemble founded by Maree Laffan, specialising in presenting traditional flamenco. The two principal dancers mentioned above, were accompanied by the exquisite guitar picking and playing of Justin Kutylowski, the percussive master Marcus Perrozzi and the sublime Raquel Avellan on vocals (who also did some dancing - and so she should, she has a PhD in the form). Flamenco is a culture as much as an art, which has evolved through time and place to become a trove of riches that yet, is still connected to the streets, homes and bars. This performance acts as a primer to the culture, demonstrating some of the many styles of dance, music and song (and not always together) that typify flamenco, making you only crave more. And yes, there are castanets. Lucky for us in Perth, Aire Flamenco are local, so the chances are good. But I would suggest you get in to see this show now, and you'll even find yourself participating in an amusing number. "

"I truly believe that La Rosa Oscura is the best flamenco entertainer in the Chicago area. She has a strong stage presence combined with a variety of styles and personal touch of elegance and grace during her performance. I love how she connects with her audience, the passion she demonstrates and of course the costumes. It is inevitable not to feel the emotions of flamenco when she dances. "

"Sabor Flamenco has beeb coming to the Plaza at Edgemere for nearly 10 years. Always a treat. Virginia brought our residents into the performance with interaction. She explained what they were doing step-by-step.. Lots of clapping and smiles. We’ll have Sabor Flamenco back— beautiful!"

"This performance was the highlight of our trip to Spain - the dancing was so incredible - with wardrobe changes and all. The neighbors overheard the performance and request her contact information because the performance was so moving and fun. This changed our celebrating into a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our guest who are still talking about and sharing pictures of it with each other even weeks later. "

"Valeria was absolutely incredible performer. Show time was scheduled and she arrived exactly as planned. She had an absolutely charming personality and was extremely professional.
