"Efrayim Fischbacher brought the house down at Dublin clarinetWorld with a performance and volume masterclass that will live long in the memories of all who attended. At 95 years old, Fischbacher is nothing short of a living legend, and his wit, charm, and unparalleled energy made for an unforgettable experience. Known as “the world’s loudest clarinet player,” Fischbacher more than lived up to his reputation. His booming renditions of classic jazz standards filled the room with a vigor that belied his age. At one point, he even shouted his catch phrase, “Oompah!” to the delight of the audience. The masterclass itself was equal parts education and entertainment. Fischbacher peppered his teaching with captivating anecdotes from his days in the 1950s jazz scene. His tales of smoky clubs, impromptu jam sessions, and larger-than-life characters were as colorful as his clarinet playing. Despite his larger-than-life persona, Fischbacher was generous with his knowledge, sharing practical tips on controlling dynamics, enhancing tone, and, of course, projecting sound with authority. Aspiring clarinetists and seasoned musicians alike left with invaluable insights—and a newfound appreciation for the art of making a statement with volume. "Chris and I cannot thank you enough for the entertainment you provided on Saturday. We had a marvellous time and the compliments we received from all guests young and old were only positive. You had people having the time of their lives on Saturday with some dancing who would usually not get up and dance. The skills the band have are undeniable. I truly couldn’t have asked for better music for our wedding day. I’m so sad it’s all over but I’m hoping I can get some event planned in the further where I can invite you guys along to play again. Our greatest appreciation and thanks to each and everyone of you."

"This was my first ever swing band concert and what can I say – it was fantastic – I didn’t realise how good they were! What a great evening. We travelled in ice, snow, high heels and dresses and it was very worth it. Fabulous music and excellent entertainment. It really started off my Christmas. Can’t wait for next year."

"I would very much like to thank you all for my amazing party on Saturday night. I was in a daze for most of it so apologies if I didn’t take the time to say thank you to everyone. The band were incredible. We really enjoyed the music. It is so good to hear real instruments and you got all of us up dancing, even me, and my feet still hurt."

"It was such a delight to have the wonderful Keziah perform for us at The George Payne as part of out VE Day Commemorations, and suffice to say, we were all absolutely blown away! To say Keziah understood the assignment would be a drastic understatement. From her fabulous vintage style dress to her timeless hair and make-up, Keziah knew exactly how to immerse her audience in the most effortless and professional way. All of this is second to her stunning voice, which captivated staff and customers alike. While we chose to work with Keziah for our 1940s theme, we are keen to have her back for another performance in the future. Thank you Keziah, we look forward to having you again!"
