    "Mark Sensinger performed background music at my daughter’s bridal shower lunch at the Andover, Inn in Andover, MA. To say that he was amazing in an understatement. He did it all. As guests were arriving and mingling he played sax - a bossa nova vibe. Then, during lunch, he played background piano music, including some of his own compositions, which were creative and easy listening. Then, during dessert and coffee, when people were moving around the room again and mingling, he played keyboard and sang - mostly older and classic love songs by Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, etc. It was unbelievable, so much like the real thing. Having live music made for a really special day. Mark is a talented and versatile musician with a varied and sophisticated repertoire and an agreeable disposition. He even came to the Andover Inn two weeks before our bridal lunch to do a sound check. He would be great at any event associated with weddings, special anniversaries and milestone birthday parties."

The event was a resounding success, with over 300 attendees, including Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and other government officials. Euro Café Duo was the perfect choice, bringing a touch of old-world charm and French classic songs that added elegance and sophistication to the evening. We would not hesitate to hire them again. Lewis's leadership was evident throughout, with singing that was confident yet understated, allowing space for all the musician voices to shine.There was an unmistakable sense of enjoyment and mutual respect on stage, which translated directly to the audience. Dynamic contrasts were handled with care, and solos were expressive without ever feeling self-indulgent. Particularly impressive was their attention to providing music that truly worked for dancers. Tempos, dynamics, and phrasing were handled with care, ensuring the music was not only enjoyable to listen to but also perfectly suited to the dance floor. Beyond the performance itself, the professional approach stood out throughout the entire process. Communication was clear and reliable from the initial booking through to the end of the event, making the experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, the Lewis Barfoot Jazz Quintet combined high-quality musicianship with professionalism and thoughtful consideration for their audience, resulting in a thoroughly successful event."

    "We booked Lady J for our annual school ball. From the outset, Lady J were a pleasure to deal with - they understood our requirements, suggested great set lists and accommodated any changes we requested. We used Lady J as the entertainment throughout our sit-down dinner and they continued to perform for a set after the meal was over. This required two very different set lists - one appropriate for dining; the other aimed at filling a dance floor. They absolutely nailed it - the music was spot on for the dinner (entertaining without being distracting) and the dance floor was filled for their entire second set. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Lady J in the future, we loved them! 💙"
