With Groove Primitive you can tell that they are dedicated from the first bar, but they also are fun, with a sense of humour. The funk is tight and the rockier songs have soul. Shay’s vocals are strong and she’s backed by some great players. I’ve seen them in bars and clubs, but could imagine them on a journey to filling much bigger venues in the future.
