"The Girls were AMAZING! Thank you so much for making Katie’s day so special. They were waiting for the signal to start Katie’s music for coming down the aisle, which somehow got lost and they had to keep on playing. But quite honestly it added to the beauty of the day! I have never seen Tom looking so nervous! Annie in the front had a major stroke last year and her life has changed for ever. She just loved listening to your music. For that I thank you very much. "Our father died aged 91 recently and as classical music had been his absolute joy throughout his life, we knew that we had to make it part of his small and very intimate funeral. How lucky (and delighted) we were to find that a professional, Miriam, lives locally and that she would like to be part of this celebration of his long life. Miriam could not have been more helpful or sensitive in helping us to choose and adapt four very special pieces and she played them beautifully, especially as unlike a wedding there was so little time for preparation. We shall never forget the sound of her playing her arrangement for cello of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus' as my father's coffin was lifted and borne out of the chapel, and continuing to hear it as we followed it to his final resting place. It was the one piece that he had ever mentioned as wishing to include at his funeral, and it meant a huge amount to have it played live by someone who cared very much about her role in the service. He would have loved to have heard it, and who knows, perhaps he did. Our heartfelt thanks, Miriam. "

"Once again the Manor House was packed to capacity for what turned out to be a good humoured and very instructive concert. Dressed in period costume with a dashing feather in his cap, Peter Bull treated his audience to a range of airs and ballads from the time of King Charles I. His quiet and unprepossessing manner immediately endeared him to all present and he soon had feet tapping to the brisk rhythm of the hurdy-gurdy. A carefully constructed introduction to each instrument — the aforementioned hurdy-gurdy, the flute, dulcimer and lute, and the type of tune about to be played or sung, added to the enjoyment of the evening. Although lacking the nuances of later music with its elaborate crescendos and embellishments, Peter Bull gave his audience an insight into the vigour and love of words and music enjoyed during the period of the English Civil War and the early renaissance."

"TRACE were a huge hit. They were absolutely wonderful, all our wedding guests loved them & were raving about them for days. They knew exactly how to read the crowd and their talent and performance expertise blew me away. I don’t think I ever saw the dance floor empty which is exactly what we were hoping for."

"We are so glad that we booked Peter to perform at our wedding drinks reception. He played music from a range of eras, and it was ideal for our festive winter wedding in a Medieval venue. We knew he’d be perfect as soon as we listened to some of his sample tracks online, and in person he was even better. Peter provided a great atmosphere, he was friendly and got on well with the guests. Peter phoned a couple of weeks before the event to discuss our preferences for musical eras and instruments. We asked for a range of things (including a few Christmas carols), with slightly more hurdy gurdy, as it’s our favourite period instrument. Our guests loved Peter’s performance, as did we, and we 100% recommend him for events. We’ve had lots of comments afterwards from people saying how great he was. Thank you, Peter, for helping to make our day so memorable and festive"

"I had Stephen play the piano and sing for us at a private event..fabulous. Great voice, great songs, wonderful performance that created a beautiful warm ambiance for all there. We all had a terrific and memorable time. Looking forward to an encore soon!!!"

"Stephan was great to work with for our wedding. We had requested a song that was not from his list, and provided the link as well as the music notes to the specific song that my husband and I wanted for our wedding ceremony. He played it beautifully on our wedding day. My guests loved his music as well. He was on time and had great communication."

"We had a great day and the band was a significant part of that enjoyment. We managed to feed and water 177 people from 3pm onward and we really appreciated the way you were prepared to fit in with our arrangements and set up and then hang around. We are so pleased we went for a live band rather than a disco. We hate background music and it was great to have such a wide play list. It really made a big difference. In 40 years I have never seen my husband dance other than the odd twirl when pushed ….& those could be counted on one hand!"

"Dear Jonathan, I wanted to put pen to paper to thank you and the band for an absolutely splendid performance last Saturday. The three players, whose names – I am ashamed to admit – escape me (one tends to drink a little on ones’ 50th) were fantastic. Smiling, easy going and accommodating yet thoroughly professional, they played superbly and contributed hugely to the success of the party. It was an absolute pleasure to have them around and their 1st class playing was enjoyed by all. I cannot wait to have them back another time. Merck beaucoup"
