The crowd was super reception and so appreciative of a band that plays songs that are not typically played in local venues. Progressive rock is an acquired taste and so many bands refuse to play it. "I contacted Chris about 8 months before we got married because when we watched their videos and read their reviews we knew they absolutely had to be the band for our reception. For the months before the wedding Chris was so kind and generous with his time and expertise and he answered hundreds of our questions without a hint of complaint! The band were incredibly popular with all our guests, so many of them remarking how wonderful the band were. Their versatility on stage was brilliant – they covered musical tastes from the past 60 years and all of it had people excited for more. Just so happy that we found Chris and The Vibrations, you’d be a fool not to book them!"

"We hired Toby for an informal 18th birthday party in our garden. He was excellent, even learning a few new songs in advance to please the birthday girl. He was exactly the right person for this kind of event, nice and chilled but very talented. Highly recommend Toby to anyone wanted a guitarist/singer for an event."

"Vanessa played at my wedding ceremony and drinks reception and was absolutely amazing. She has the most fantastic voice and played all the songs we asked for even going as far as learning two particular songs that we requested. So many of our guests commented that they loved listing to her play and sing. She is extremely helpful and her communication before the wedding was exceptional. I would most definitely recommend Vanessa to anyone!!!"

"Party Hardy with the OPOV Band If I had a dollar for every compliment I received for OPOV Band's performance at my daughter's wedding last Saturday night, I would have had almost enough to pay for the band itself. Which, by the way, was worth every penny I did pay. Typical praise: "Where did you find that band? They were great!" "Best band ever!" "Never danced so much in my life!" "You guys know how to throw a wedding!" This, and more, from wedding guests of all ages and types. Obviously, the bride, the groom, and everyone there had a blast! Thank you, OPOV Band, for your part in making this special evening, one we will never forget!"

"I booked StraightFire to play for my 50th Birthday. They put on a great evening of entertainment playing some of my favourite songs and some modern numbers for the younger guests. I had lots of comments from friends and family about how great the band was and would thoroughly recommend them for any special occasion. "
