"Beacon Street Jazz played for our small wedding. Our saxophone player became ill. Beacon Street Jazz answered the call and we hired him at the last minute. He was great! Had very little time to prepare for our event, but no one would have ever known! Thanks again!!!!"

"Where did you find these guys, they are AWESOME - is what we heard countless times at our amazing wedding. When we booked Aden and Simon music duo for our wedding in November it was a bit of a leap of faith. We had seen some clips and we were impressed by their music but also the fact that they rearranged songs that they performed. We got in touch, met for a coffee and chatted music and other things for an hour. It was evident from that meeting we had made the right choice for us. We didn’t have a list of songs for them to play just a feeling after meeting them that they knew our vibe and they would just go off that. We were not disappointed. The day started seamlessly when I arrived at the venue I saw Simon and asked if we could help set up. It’s all done he replied - one less thing to do then. We had them for the whole day and the brief was start off slowly and finish with a bang. They delivered. Acoustic music for our guests led into our special walk down the aisle song (acoustic style) which they learnt just for us, thanks guys. After the wedding some more beautiful acoustic music and then it was time for reception and speeches, these were aided by their generous offer of using a wireless mic which made things so easy. After the reception the party really kicked up a notch. The duo was now a four piece band that played funky party music where our guests danced up a storm. Mixed in with some nostalgic treats from back in the day - who are these guys and where did you get them became a regular query. To top it all off we added a saxophonist to end the night on a high. Our night ended with a medley of - one more !!! which the band were happy to oblige. Absolute legends all of them. Thankyou Aden, Simon, Audrey, Alex and Alevia. We had such a memorable wedding and you guys were a massive part of it. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. Cheers."

"Band Name: The Mark Prest Band Album/Performance Review The Mark Prest Band delivers a solid performance with their latest work, offering a mix of catchy riffs and emotive lyrics. Their sound has a familiar vibe that will resonate with fans of Rock, yet they bring enough originality to stand out in a crowded scene. The production is good but not so polished, and gives each instrument its due attention, but sometimes it feels uncontrolled, lacking some raw energy. Vocally, the lead singer has a distinctive tone that fits well with the band’s overall style. However, there are moments where their delivery doesn’t quite reach the emotional depth that the music seems to promise. The choice of songs is generally strong, with several standout tracks that display their creative potential, but a few songs feel like filler, lacking the spark that makes the other tracks so engaging. In terms of performance, The Prest Band shows promise, but they haven't yet reached the level where they completely blow you away. With more time to refine their sound and experiment with different styles, there’s definitely room for them to grow and improve. Overall, Mark Prest is a promising group with some great moments, but they're not quite there yet. A 7/10 feels fitting, as they deliver a competent effort with plenty room for improvement. "Had a great afternoon watching Graham Bilbrough and Child at the Northern Social, Pontefract. It was great to see everyone up dancing and having a good time to some brilliant 70s songs. Child were superb playing to a packed house. Can't wait to see them again! "

"This is the first time I've seen this band, and I've got to say that in the 14 years I've been in Spain, they are the best, they were brilliant. Geoff Murrell on vocals, brilliant. The three guitarists were fantastic and the drummer was amazing. Can totally recommend an amazing time if you go and see them!"

"I hired Scott for my 40th birthday party. I asked him to play for a few hours while everyone arrived and also through dinner. He was AMAZING! I have had so many messages saying what an amazing addition to my party that was. He sang classics like Billy Joel, Elton John, Frank Sinatra . His voice is incredible and I will absolutely be hiring him for future events. Thanks Scott for making the night so fun!!!"
