As a solo saxophonist, my setup is minimal. I’ll typically bring my laptop to play backing tracks, so I just need a 3.5mm headphone/aux cable to connect to your PA system, along with a microphone for my saxophone if the space calls for it. No stand is needed on my end.
I’d like to know the venue’s sound setup so I can plan accordingly, including whether there’s an aux/headphone input available for connecting my laptop, and whether a microphone will be provided or if I should bring my own. It also helps to know load-in access and parking, plus whether there’s a sound limiter in place.
I sometimes bring my own PA system depending on the space. I perform to backing tracks from my laptop, so I might need the venue to provide sound reinforcement (a simple aux/headphone connection works) and a microphone for my saxophone if needed. Lighting isn’t something I require, but I’m happy to work with whatever’s in place.
Yes, I’m open to playing music from Spotify before, after, and between my sets, provided it’s arranged as part of the booking and reflected in the fee. I’m happy to curate the playlist myself or work from a list the client provides.
I performed at the wedding of a prominent governor’s son wedding and I had a really nice time. The best venue I have worked at was Monarch center.
I love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favorite! The guests are always happy and that’s what matters most to me”
I started gigging before my university days. Started with the piano at weddings, church event's then eventually got to playing the saxophone professionally. I have serviced a lot of clients from the UK, US and other countries.
