About / Biography

Saxophonist & USMC Veteran

As a passionate saxophonist and proud US Marine Corps veteran, I’ve dedicated my life to both music and service to my country. After being honorably discharged, I found solace and purpose in the soulful melodies of my saxophone.

My musical journey began at a young age, but it wasn’t until my military service that I truly understood the power of music to heal and inspire. Drawing from my experiences, I infuse my performances with emotion and depth, connecting with audiences on a profound level.

Serving in the USMC taught me the values of discipline, resilience, and sacrifice. Though my journey has been marked by challenges, I wear my disability with pride, a reminder of the strength and courage I carry within.

Through my music, I aim to uplift others, spreading joy and hope wherever I perform. Whether on stage or in the community, I strive to make a positive impact, honoring both my musical talents and my military service.

My dedication to music and service has been recognized through various awards and honors, but the true reward lies in the connections forged and the lives touched through my performances.

Join me on this journey of melody and meaning as we celebrate the beauty of music and the resilience of the human spirit.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need a performance space applicable to the players booked for the event. Requirements will be conveyed during negotiations. At least one parking space close to load in required. Other parking requirements will be discussed in negotiations. We also require access to electricity within 10ft. of the performance area. This is nonnegotiable.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed of any noise ordinances that might apply.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Proximity to electricity. Is that something that can cause issues?

Short answer is Yes. The more distance between the power source and the devices requiring power, the less stable the current becomes. This can create problems with any or all equipment used by the musician, band, or DJ to provide their best performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

Weddings and Parties are always a great time however the performances we do at the VA and various other Veteran themed events are most rewarding for us.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always so happy. The smiles on the guests faces are priceless!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Started gigging while in high school we’ve since developed our own sound. Gone on to perform at hundreds of weddings, parties and events up and down the east coast a few on the west coast too.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My tastes in music are very eclectic. This would take a while. I’m a fan of artists and musicians across most genres. That mashup can be heard in our performances.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Normally I/we will arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. Performances are 2 sets at 45 to 60 minutes per. This depends on our clients desire. Playing longer is negotiable. We will play shorter sets at our clients discretion however in our experience this timeframe works best for us as well as our audience.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn specific songs before the event but we limit this to 5 songs. Clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe me/us as smooth and jazzy. Love getting the audience on the dance floor
