"I have booked Robert George (Bob) Fox for our festival for the last 9 years. During that time he has entertained our audience with his wonderful songwriting, musicianship and engaging personality. Bob’s songs are evocative of his life, travels and the landscape he grew up in. They draw you in and have you singing along, even if you have not heard them before. Songs like “Whisky Barrel Street” are genuine modern classic folk songs, whilst “Rock Chicks” and “Cocaine” ensnare you with their funky beats and soulful grooves. Bob has great stage presence, audiences respond to his personality and warmth, appreciating his dexterity, whether he is playing from his large repertoire of original songs or playing great covers in his own inimitable style. I highly recommend Bob for your venue, he is a local talent to be treasured."

"COULDN'T RECOMMEND TONY AND THE BAND MORE!!! Went to an event on the 23rd of November. The venue was really cool. Food and drinks available. The band were incredible. Couldn’t help but dance. The vibe was so nice. Everyone that attended was friendly. I can’t wait for the next show. I’ll definitely be there. Regardless of age I think this is the perfect night out. "

"Dave did the music for my husband’s 50th in 2017, and then my 50th in 2023. I knew when I was planning my party that I would be booking Dave - he was so brilliant to work with the first time! Dave is one of the easiest people to liaise with when planning. He makes every effort to understand your needs and timings, and is flexible in terms with song choices, whether looking for a mix of live singing, using playlist, or ‘karaoke’ style for guests to join in. He will also adapt on the day/evening if the guests are making specific song requests and will allow them to sing into the microphone, whilst he accompanies on guitar – it’s amazing how many seemingly shy friends and family, suddenly become budding Rock Stars! I wouldn’t hesitate booking Dave again and have wonderful memories to thank him for. "

"The Hot Hats were thoroughly professional from the word go - seamless booking process, and very well organised when it came to both the setup and the timings on the night. The performance itself was brilliant, both ourselves and our guests loved every minute of it and it was a pleasure to have them play our first dance for us. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! "These guys (and lady) did an absolutely amazing job for us. For what was a very personal family event they went to extra lengths to make it an even more memorable personal event. I’ve booked numerous bands previously for events but Alive and Kicking delivered that extra bit of quality. Thanks."

"We couldn't have asked for a better band to celebrate our wedding on Saturday! Despite the extremely hot weather, they were fantastic with so much energy and Claire has the most amazing voice! We received so many compliments from our guests about how fantastic the band. If you're looking for a wedding band that will make your celebration memorable, look no further than Miss-Chief and the Makers."
