"Just wanted to thank Direct Hit for their awesome performance at my Birthday Party. All the guests had a fun time dancing and rockin' and commented on what a good variety of music you play. We are looking forward to seeing you again and will definitely be hiring you and your band for our upcoming Anniversary party."

"Jose doesn’t play saxophone. He is saxophone. When he holds it, he is a saxophone, and the saxophone becomes him. When that happens to any instrument or a musician, it’ll take you to a whole new world, the world you’ve never been before. How can you be like that? LOVE. Life is an hourglass. Time is limited. Better find real people with REAL LOVE. "

"Corporate Holiday Party - David M. - December 3rd, 2021 We were very pleased with Josh and his two partners as they entertained our company at the annual holiday party. Easy to work with, extensive set list, and great performers. I recommend them to anyone needing entertainment for a live event!"

"Well Tony, you did it again. You had the room in your hands. You are a FANTASTIC performer. Never once did you stop singing all night. Tony, like Arnie said, You Will Be Back! "

"I arrived at venue after someone else recommended Sandy as worth going to see. What an understatement. Sandy is a must see., or rather hear. The variety of her song choices is extensive, something for everyone. Her voice, goodness that's some range and the depth, warmth of the tone is inviting you as an individual to enjoy. Now add to that the party that explodes with her wit and seance of fun. Really great night out, so good I went back to see her show twice. (10 / 10)"

"I saw Jacopo several times playing live at open mic nights and in a restaurant for a private party and he has this beautiful voice, excellent guitar skills (obviously!) and a very engaging personality with a good sense of humor who manages with just that to entertain an entire crowd. You want a charming Italian man with a guitar who can sing pretty much every song you can think of (even when asked spontaneously)? Jacopo is your man. Also he replied promptly to our request, planning was super smooth and professional. Thanks a lot Jacopo and see you soon! "

Claudia! Thanks a lot again for your kind words. This is how I try to make every listener feel, when I am live. Regardless if one-time listeners or multiple times. It's actually challenging to go beyond the music performance and to establish some fun interactions too. But it would be worse (and boring!) not to try at all. Fun things cannot happen without a special kind of Listeners who are curious and willing to engage. And you are obviously in this special List of special Listeners! This is what keeps me going, after +10 years of live solo gigs... thanks!!!

"The Long Players were a fantastic evenings entertainment for all our guests, they got people up and moving about whilst still entertaining the more reserved who sat back enjoying the music. They were professional from start to finish and and we received nothing but positive words from our guests about how enjoyable they were. Many thanks to Lee throughout the whole booking process and the whole band for the evening. I would not debate booking you again or recommending you to anyone."

"Kenny Kirby [2021] - Playin' The Cracks (Selected Tracks) [Philly Fillet Records] I came across this artist via DJ Melismo's (aka Mats Olofsson) latest podcast in which he played "Someday We'll All Be Free" (and what a version!), so decided to check out the rest of the album Kenny Kirby's name may not be well known but he has been performing for over forty years with top acts such as Van Morrison, Charlie Grace, Sly & The Family Stone, Delfonics, Three Degrees, Major Harris, Billy Paul, Intruders, Blue Notes, Soul Survivors and was conductor for The Tymes. He is a piano player from Birmingham, AL, and released, what looks like, his debut album "Playin' The Cracks" in April. It is mainly covers, smooth jazz, some instrumentals and some quite MOR tunes, but three tracks did get my attention. I'm fairly sure it's not Kenny singing as some of the vocals are female. No one else is credited on the album, so I'm guessing they are unnamed guest vocalists on the vocal tracks. The three tracks are a cover of Donny Hathaway's "Someday We'll All Be Free", "Some Things Never Change" and "Ultimate Lover" a song written by Linda Creed and Dennis Matkosky."

"The guy’s are as close you will ever get to the real Bee Gee’s, their look and harmonies are fantastic. We can’t wait to have them back. Ricky Tomlinson, The Greenroom Liverpool (We are still working for him 6 years later and every event has been sold out.) Barry – we mean Tony B – looked, sang, talked, moved and played guitar exactly like his alter ego. Tony has been Barry Gibb from the beginning of his calling 15 years ago. The portrayal of Maurice & Robin were every bit as convincing as Barry in their looks, trademark dry humour, dress, posture, mannerisms, movement and, of course, that unique, compelling sound. Imitation really was the sincerest form of flattery. Marhaba Desk, Author at Marhaba, Qatar's premier information guide The band were excellent, so thanks very much indeed. I didn’t see them before they left so would you please give them my thanks. Tim Manns, Station Director, The Saint, 107.8 FM, DAB Across South Hampshire, Sky Digital 899. (This was after playing in the middle of Southampton Football pitch (32,000 people) with Alan Shearer Kicking a football head skillfully over the guys heads as they were singing. This is just a brief note to thank you and ā€˜The Bees Knees’ for the band’s performance at our staff Christmas party at the Thistle Marble Arch on 19th December 2002. They are an excellent tribute band and I really appreciated them appearing in the 1970’s gear as well! I would certainly recommend them if anyone I know is looking for a Bee Gees tribute band or some good entertainment for a party or function. Frances Hughes - Head of Marketing & Sponsorship, CBI - The voice of business The fabulous Bees Knees singing ā€œO-o-o-oh stayin’ aliveā€ paid an exciting tribute to Bee Gees in their first performance in Asia. The Bees Knees performed live in three concerts ā€˜Night Fever’ organised by Pearl Continental hotels in Karachi, Lahore and Ralwalpini. The Bees Knees is a popular tribute band of the UK and has been holding concerts in Europe and America for the last two years. Each song was followed by by a loud clapping of appreciation. the sweet melodies and upbeat numbers they presented showed the Bee Gees evolution from lite ensemble to soft rock disco geniuses. Their singing had many in the audience tapping their feet and singing with them. The show was a glorious tribute to the Bee Gees. The Bees Knees expressed their desire to visit Pakistan again. Stayin' Alive' with The Bees Knees - The Pakistan Nation Plus Newspaper, 25th September 2003 It appeared as if the Bee Gees had started performing again when a tribute band from London known as ā€˜The Bees Knees’ performed before Lahore on Tuesday at Pearl Continental Hotel. Bees Knees had been especially invited to Pakistan by the hotel management. The band had performed in Karachi on September 21st and will perform in Islamabad on Sept 24th. Talking to the Daily Times they said, ā€œWe’ve’ loved music and especially the Bee Gees, so we started singing their songs. They added, one more reason for performing the Bees Gees is keeping their music alive. They started off the evening with the famous Bee Gees opener ā€˜You Should Be Dancing’ followed by ā€˜Tragedy’. The tribute tonight ended with famous Bee Gees numbers ā€˜ Staying Alive’ and ā€˜ Night Fever’. 'Bees Knees' performs in Lahore - Daily Times Newspaper, 24th September 2003 What a spectacular night! Last night’s Press Ball, at the County Hotel, Copdock, sponsored by AV Unit and British Gas is fast becoming one of the most glittering events in Suffolk’s social calendar. 250 guests help raise Ā£25,911 in just one night to help improve the lives of dozens of Suffolk children with disabilities. Much of the money came from an auction of items. After the bidding was over guests partied the night away to Bee Gees tribute band, Bees Knees and Abba tribute Abba Illusion. Evening Star Newspaper - Saturday, June 28th, 2003 This is to confirm that the event went very well. The UK Bee Gees turned up on time and set up. They were totally self-contained and extremely well organised. I am new to this and when I asked the theatre manager are all acts as good as this she said definitely not. She stated this was the most professional and best organised group she had ever worked with. The concert went very well and the audience had a whale of a time. Dancing in the aisles. We would highly recommend the UK Bee Gees and will be booking them again. Rotary Club of Felixstowe Languard, Seckford Theatre Hi Tony (UK Bee Gees). I’m Margaret writing to Thank you once more for the time of my life. The review you sent us is a very good one, it praises your show to detail. It says the show was exceptional and what impressed the writer most was that the UK Bee Gees tribute band had such great voices and that it was difficult to believe that they are not the real group and I totally agree. Believe it or not they even mentioned me and how I had one the competition as the biggest Bee Gee Fan in Malta and got to spend the weekend with you in Gozo. Margaret Winner of TV programme in Malta 2006 It took little time for the UK Bee Gees, a very realistic tribute band, to get their audience gyrating to the songs of 20 years ago and the dance floor remained packed all evening. Mike Page, SLCC Please could you pass on our sincere thanks to the band they were absolutely fantastic and everyone loved them. The music and their appearance was very accurate to the real thing. They arrived very early to set up and check everything was to perfection which immediately showed their professionalism. One thing which must not go unmentioned was the willingness of Melanie the manager of the band to help out through the night in any way she could to ensure a successful evening ., which is exactly what it was. Many thanks to you all again. Keith and Ali Price - 'Event In A Tent' Hi, just wanted to say that the team were fantastic, excellent set up, good sound and lighting. Really entertaining. Couldn’t of asked for anymore. Many thanks to the UK BeeGees for making our party. Paul & Jason Saunders"
