"Before we hired Karla Ruiz we looked at many groups…we wanted plenty of music for the ceremony but also the ability to choose our favourite songs and Girona Duo allowed us to do just that. From the moment they listened to our proposed idea we never had a no for an answer. We knew that it would not be easy and it would be a challenge for any musician…it shows when someone does their work with love and affection, and they certainly did. We couldn’t have asked for more, we only have the best words of gratitude to say about them!"

"I hired this band for my 40th birthday party 1920’s casino themed. Matthew the band leader was great and professional in our first meeting. I had a lot of questions and he was patient with me answering everything. On the load in day of the party they had their sound team present and on time !!!! The band showed up on time and ready to go and I requested two songs that they killed !!!! We had an awesome time and they played like it was no tmrw !!!! I still get compliments about this party because of this band and I will definitely hire them again and again. They are true musicians dedicated to being the best and putting out quality work. One of the things I liked the most about this band is when they do this free style song and they invite others to preform with them. It’s awesome to see it and you never know how or who would kill the mic. Best band ever !!!!! "

"Fantastic! We hired Lina to play a holiday party at our house. Lina was great to communicate with prior to the event and arrived well in advance of her start time to get everything setup. We did an hour of the Christmas classics, then moved the party to our garage bar when Lina really crushed it with some more upbeat tunes. Lina was absolutely the hit of the party and incredibly talented. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice, she is fantastic! Really hope that we can see her play again! Extremely talented musician that is super friendly!"

"Nice guys and great musicians. We wanted a 100% Italian style reception and so it was, they sang Italian songs that we all sang together. They had a station near us and every now and then they played, singing and walking between the tables with the guests. Very very funny and characteristic. We still sing Volare and O Sole mio thinking about that magical evening. Thanks so much guys!"
