" “We hired 5th Gear Overdrive with a bit of hesitation because it wasn’t our “Normal” kind of music we hire, but boy are we glad we did. The music is awesome, but it isn’t the best part. These guys are one of the most respectable bands we have hired. One out of two bands that i actually gotten a call from my staff to tell me how much they appreciated them. After the first show we just knew that this was going to be one of our regular bands. And another bonus, they DO BRING A CROWD! Every time they’ve played, we’ve had incredible numbers for the night. This band is a breath of fresh air to the 607 Music Scene! "

"This very talented and professional band played at a family wedding recently. They were brilliant! Their music choices were excellent and they had made a huge effort to learn new numbers specifically requested by us. All our guests commented on their professionalism and they managed to energise their audience - lots of dancing! They delivered on all their promises and were totally reliable, a real bonus when planning a wedding. "Perfect for our event. Flexible and engaging We had a wonderful time with Mike and Suzanne celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary. They were very responsive, flexible, reasonably priced, and even took some requests for specific songs. They also did a great job interacting with the crowd and even inviting some more of the brave guests to join and sing along for a few songs. "Brandon was absolutely wonderful. Had a great selection of music. He even went above and beyond to learn some additional requested tracks. Furthermore, Brandon created specific Spanish playlists, which were requested, and played during his breaks. He was professional, responsive, attentive to the event’s needs, and extremely talented. Would definitely recommend."

"Jalo is a very crossover guitar player, once you see him play the instrument, you don't want to use your acoustic one, because he's better ! Able to fit each repertoire, he's a refreshing musician. I love to share the stage with him when it's possible, he's unique. "
