I've played at the 02 Academy in Shepherd's Bush that was pretty amazing! Every gig and venue has it's own unique charm but playing on the pool deck of a cruise ship in the Norweigan Fjords will be pretty hard to beat!
Before I made my way as a solo artist in Ireland I played the bass guitar/acoustic guitar and sang in bands working for Tui and Royal Carribean from 2019 to 2023. I also studied popular music performance in London graduating in 2016.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Live at Slane Castle DVD was something I watched a lot growing up. Oasis, Nirvana, The Strokes and The Clash.
When i'm relaxing I listen to dance music or soundscapes.
My favourite song is 'Heartbeats' by Jose Gonzalez - a cover of a song by a Swedish band called 'The Knife'.
Setting up my full rig with both my speakers and lighting typically takes an hour. I prefer to take my time where possible, especially after a long drive! If i'm playing in a pub I usually only use one speaker and it only takes about 30 minutes to be ready to go.
Absolutley! As long as there is shade from the sun or protection from the rain! A power supply near to the performance area is also useful.
Sure! I have a repertoire of around 400 songs so you can pick and choose any you like from that.
Always! Just ask and if I know it, i'll play it! If not, depending on the song I can learn it. I'm always adding new songs to my repertaiore, but if there's a special song to fit the occasion let me know well in advance to give me time to learn it :).
I certainly do. The most common requests are for day 2 wedding parties here in Ireland so just let me know if you have any particular song choices!
