"If you are looking for a unique, diverse musical sound for an occasion, then book The Achill Lads. They are exceptionally talented musicians with style/genres ranging from traditional Irish/occasion/church music, piping, folk and singing. The variety of instruments they can play is astonishing! Their professionalism is second to none and I have been lucky to perform with them throughout the years. We were very honoured to have them perform at our Wedding last year and they were amazing! "We opted for the 6 piece band adding in the sax player and how right we were with that choice. So good from start to finish. They learnt some songs I asked for too and the singing and energy had everyone dancing from start to finish of the evening. Book with confidence. They will make your event!"

"If you’re looking for a guitarist to play at your wedding, I couldn’t recommend Alan more! He has a huge playlist to choose from and had some many of our favourites. Alan moved around the venue depending on where guests were and so many of our guests commented on his playing. Annoyingly, we were delayed getting to our reception, due to transport issues, and Alan so kindly stayed to play for longer than planned for us. It was the perfect music for our wedding reception and breakfast! We can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and brilliant, Alan. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends! "Myriam is smiling, flexible and professional. Sublime music and a beautiful repertoire to accompany our wedding ceremony, in a private garden in Paris, setting a magical “Midsummer Night's Dream” mood. She even learned a Beatles song at our request for the signing of the marriage certificate. The icing on the cake! "

"We enjoyed it We received many positive reactions at the party, with guests specifically mentioning the music. They were very enthusiastic. The music was exactly as I had imagined: beautiful, atmospheric jazz that does not overpower conversation. We really enjoyed it. The booking process was special for me because, after signing up via the website, everything was handled by phone. I really appreciated this personal approach with advice and suggestions. "

"Stevie, Recently piped at a relatives funeral, leading up to the event he was utterly professional, putting myself and the family at ease and liaising directly with the funeral service director over the proceedings on the day, and easing the burden on the family. On the day, he was immaculately turned out, and his piping of the Laments were faultless, his presence really made the final journey of our Loved one very special, everyone has commented how lovely it was to hear the pipes, and i cannot thank Stevie enough for his efforts on a very sad but through him an uplifting day. Thank you. "
