The music they played was timeless, appealing to all age groups and played with lots of 'pizzazz' The function was attended by all ages from 'baby' to 'senior' and we all had a thouroughly enjoyable time. He was able to create a unique atmosphere during the entire reception, then enhance our entrance into the reception hall. From our first exchanges, he was attentive, responsive, caring and very professional. On the day, he perfectly knew how to adapt to the moments, while being both discreet and fully present. His musical style, rich and elegant, has conquered all our guests. He was able to customize his repertoire according to our wishes while keeping this touch that makes his signature. "We just want to say a HUGE thank you for making our wedding so unbelievably amazing and fun!! We were honestly blown away by how fantastic yourself and the band were and cannot thank you enough. We have been inundated with messages from family and friends saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to, mainly down to the band! The set up looked so professional and you all sounded brilliant. You had everyone aged from 5months to 86 years old on the dance floor and we didn’t stop partying all night! "

"We were lucky enough to book Leon for my nephew and his bride's wedding night at the weekend as a surprise for them both. Leon was a great and prompt communicator via email, sending me his repertoire so we could pick what songs we preferred. Leon had to travel on the Saturday bank holiday weekend from Harrogate to Sunderland and he was all set up prompt to start the exact time we had requested. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his music, he even sang a song I had enquired if he could possibly sing which was not on his repertoire for a bride and mother dance which he kindly was able to sing and the bride was over the moon!!! I would definitely recommend Leon for any function as there was a wide variety of ages and he sang songs that would suit everyone. Thanks Leon, we really appreciated you helping to make their special day!"

"I booked The Backbeats for my dad's 80th Birthday party and I am so glad I did! Commnication from booking up until the night was great. Such lovely people. The music was amazing, everybody loved them and had the best time! I would highly recommend the band and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again!"
