"We had Scotty play and sing some 90’s acoustics at my husband’s 40th birthday, and he was absolutely fantastic! He played what was requested, set the perfect vibe, and was such a great addition to the party. So many of our guests commented on how talented he was and how much they enjoyed the music."

"We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary at Leicester Tigers Stadium, who said they could book a band for us. Shortly before the event, we got in touch with Eric, and provided the Band with a playlist. The Party was an early evening do, going on 'til late, so after serving the buffet, we decided to start with a “children's half hour” to keep the youngsters busy. We chose the Okey Kokey, which even the little ones know as they learn it at playgroups nowadays, then went on to the Birdie Song, Let's do The Twist, Locomotion, and a few more which the children thoroughly enjoyed, but that did not stop them from continuing with the adults into the “back to the 60's, 70's, etc.” and ever onwards, to current charts - with lots of great classics. The Band delivered all the songs very well, and everybody was amazed at how both Eric and Richard Ryan sounded so close to the originals. We have had lots of great comments from the party goers too, saying how much they enjoyed themselves. Truly lovely people, and we would thoroughly recommend them for your party or other event. "I had the pleasure of seeing River Rats at The Strode Arms, West Cranmore at the weekend and it was fabulous. If you live around Somerset I highly recommend giving them a follow and going to see them… Or maybe book them for your party/venue 🎶"

"Pharaoh and the Beats recently played at our wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn and provided a really fantastic night of live entertainment for us and our guests! From the start, Leanne and the team's services were super professional. After quickly responding to our initial enquiry and questions, we were invited to a rehearsal to check them out and see if the band's style was a fit for our event. Getting to meet Leanne, hearing her amazing vocal talent live, and seeing how well the band gelled together really put us at ease and confirmed they were going to be the right choice for our wedding. Communication and flexibility from the band leading up to and including the big day was excellent too such as promptly sharing PAT/PLI certificates for the venue, tailoring a varied set-list to our taste/audience, letting us choose a couple of our favourite songs for them to learn and perform, dealing with some speech over-runs compressing set-up time on the night, and even letting the Groom get up on stage with Leanne to sing a few verses of the kiwi classic 'Be Mine Tonight' and Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' to the Bride! Everyone had a great night and we were all super impressed with Leanne's stunning vocals and the band's warm up-beat sound. If you're looking for a professional and reliable covers band with a vocalist that can cover a wide range of material and really get the party going, hire these guys!"

"We employ a band each year for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Classic Le Mans we have never had a female siger and we wernt dissapointed. The whole band was exceptional giving us exactly what we wanted great set and we will be inviting them back next year. Dont hesitate to book this band ."

"Wow. You guys made our wedding. It was our hope and you did not disappoint. Our guests were absolutely blown away and you were the talk of the evening. . There was just non-stop singing and dancing. Your energy was fantastic and so professional. We ended our wedding in the best way; with people wanting more! The best wedding band I have heard in 25 weddings so thank you for making it ours!"

"This is a wicked band! They seriously enjoy the full performance! You party hard they party harder! Totally on point. They knew when to hold back and let people drink, and they knew when time to go all out! We watched them practice, they offered to see them again if we wanted. They communicated so much to make us feel confident and connected. I am very glad we had Candy and the sound play at our wedding and I highly recommend them for anybody else's!"

"We wanted music for a small gathering of my friends and relatives…we didn’t want anything to loud, but still had energy to dance to.. my friend recommended Unexpected Duo, they played a lot of different types of music, we asked for dance music and that was no problem, they took a moment and before you know it ,everyone was on the patio dancing, we were singing to all of the songs by that point, I will hire them for my next party…thank you Jan and Rob or Ron..sorry forgot your name!"

"The Weegie Beats played our wedding and had the dance floor busy all night through their sets. Also the drummer did an excellent dj set after. Very talented, professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend."
