Half Star Project is an idea born in 2015, started almost for fun leading us to perform at over 200 events, until it became a real professional project.
The musicians who make up the band all have decades of experience and some of them are professional musicians.
We have performed in a wide variety of situations: from simple concerts in small local venues to street parties, etc., but in recent years we have specialized in weddings and private events.
The three main genres we try to follow up are pop, rock, and dance, ranging from the 70s to more modern songs, obviously rearranging the pieces and adapting their style to our acoustic formation.
Most of our repertoire is international, but we also have several songs in Italian, for a total of over 2 hours of live performance plus the possibility to extend it with musical selections of all kinds.

We have two top-quality column array sound systems. These are very versatile, allowing us to play in venues ranging from the smallest (in acoustic formation) to largest town squares.
We also have a low-energy LED lighting system.
Our hallmark is ELEGANCE: from our choice of music to the cleanliness of the stage, this is our motto!

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own sound system(s) to all of our gigs as well as a simple stage lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing or singing our songs. :)
As band, we started playing together 10 years ago, but as musicians we played many many many gigs in various formations since over 20 years ;)
Queen, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Toto are surely great pillars, but we also liked and listened to many rock and grunge bands like G'nR, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Metallica etc...or pop stars like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Coldplay etc...
Greatest song of all time?? ...Impossible to chose only one! :D

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2-3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
