Depending on which lineup you choose, we will need different amounts of space: whether you choose only the acoustic duo, the band, or the DJ set.

We need to know how many music setups are required for the event (for example: ceremony setup, aperitif setup, dinner setup, cake-cutting setup, party setup) and where they will be located.

If the event/wedding is held in Italy, we have up to 5 of our own setups, which will be set up by us independently before the event. The setups include instruments, speakers, all necessary connections, and party lighting.

Yes, we will take care of the music for your entire event/wedding, from start to finish. When we are not performing live, we will play background music or a DJ set.

Voice of Waves is a project of professional musicians providing musical entertainment (live music and DJ sets) for events and weddings.

They have several years of experience in the wedding industry across different areas of Italy, including Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Umbria, Tuscany, Lombardy, Liguria, and others. They have won four Matrimonio.com Wedding Awards for the years 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026.

They also have many years of experience in events such as private parties, corporate events, and hotel evenings. They have performed at several prestigious 5-star venues, including the MarePineta Resort in Milano Marittima (2022) and the Alpen Suite Hotel in Madonna di Campiglio (2023). They also performed at a private event for the football team Vis Pesaro (2023).

Additional live experiences include performing at Casa Sanremo (2022) during the Sanremo Festival week, as well as an overseas live performance in Tokyo (2016).

Our favorite type of event is weddings, because they allow us to express all of our expertise and our love for music throughout your event.

We started performing as a voice-and-guitar duo in local venues, hotels, and small events in the area. Then we began working in weddings. We added a DJ set to our performance, along with additional instruments (drums first, then saxophone, violin, and now the full band). Every year, we strive to evolve as musicians and in our performances, in order to offer an ever-improving service.

We are musicians with a taste for various musical genres, including more alternative styles such as rock, punk, and metal. For weddings, we prefer to perform more mainstream genres, such as pop, Italian music, jazz, and lounge. For our DJ set, however, we offer a wide-ranging repertoire that spans many different genres.

We usually perform live during the ceremony at the venue (30–40 minutes) either as an acoustic duo (voice and guitar) or with violin accompanied by backing tracks. During the aperitif, we perform live in various lineups of your choice, from a voice-and-guitar duo, with the addition of saxophone, violin, or a full band with drums and bass (1.5 hours, maximum 2 hours). During dinner, we provide background music and a DJ set, with the option to add an electric violin and voice performance. For the DJ set (up to 4 hours), it is also possible to include a saxophone and/or electric violin performance.

Yes, we can perform outdoors. On very sunny days, we ask for some coverage for our setup (for example, an umbrella). On rainy days, however, we cannot perform outside.

The repertoire can be customized for the ceremony, for key moments (such as the couple’s first dance, cake-cutting song, bouquet toss, etc.), for the dinner background playlist, and for the DJ set. The live music repertoire during the aperitif, however, is not customizable.

Voice of Waves offers live music (acoustic duo, band, saxophone, and violin of your choice) during the ceremony and aperitif. In addition, a DJ set (with optional saxophone and violin) is provided for the reception and celebrations.
