"Talk about a professional! Johnny Miner was a Class A professional. We had him play at my brother's graveside services. He called ahead of time to get all the details. He explained he would play off in the distance while people gathering. Then as per requested he would play Amazing Grace. He offered to explain to those gathered that he would play Amazing Grace and then fade off into the distance as is the Celtic tradition of the spirit lingering and then fading away. The cemetery he played at was quite a ways away, so not only did he travel a long ways to get there, but he was early to the graveside services. Unfortunately one of our speakers got lost, so the service was delayed a considerable amount of time. However, Johnny continued to play in the hot sun with no complaint. The bagpipe playing was the highlight of the send off for my brother and was no doubt the highlight of the service. I was amazed how simple and quick it was to make the arrangements to have a bagpiper play at a funeral service. Johnny was dressed beautifully and enhanced a beautiful service. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to add the beautiful sound of bagpipes to any event. Hopefully in the future we will be able to invite him back for a more joyful event such as a wedding."

They listened to all our requests and they even helped us out at the church with playing the hymns- a last minute spanner in the works from us! "Rafael is perfect and versatile for any occasion. He performed at my wedding my first dance followed by more upbeat songs. I also had a club opening night where he kept everyone dancing for hours! Easy to book and very reliable! I would definitely recommend booking Rafael. I would definitely be booking him in again sometime soon"

"We chose this violin and piano duo for our wedding in Venice, and they truly made our day unforgettable. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to our needs. "We had the Brogues band at our wedding day in September 2023. Brogues band were absolutely integral to our special day, not only was the music perfect for our setting & wedding the service and professionalism we experienced from the band was amazing! We had spoken with Grace from the band initially who had initially discussed our wedding day plans- no request was too much for the band. They completely slotted into our day and wedding as we wished! From the Ceilidh calling to the dancing itself, we could not have asked for anything more. Following the wedding we had many comments from our wedding guests complimenting how great the band were and how relaxed and well co-ordinated the Ceilidh dances were. Grace had done an excellent job of Ceilidh calling, and rounding up members of the wedding- which we appreciate can not be easy at the reception after the guests have had a few drinks! The dance floor was never empty and this was something we were so pleased about. As our venue can seem massive when the floor isn’t filled, however the band ensured that there was always ample people up boogeying away. From the moment of the first dance to our last dance of Loch Lomond, the band completely ensured the party was going and everyone had a great time. Requests were kindly taken from the dance floor too which allowed everyone to feel part of the wedding and gave every one a chance to get up and dance into the night! We cannot recommend Brogues Band enough, absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a traditional & laid back Scottish wedding- with your own stamp added! Thank you Brogues Band x"
