Dan knight is an singer/songwriter who grew up in his hometown of northampton where from a young age he started out his career busking in hometown streets with his acoustic guitar
From there Dan went on to reach the grand finals of a UK wide competition with over 10,000 other singers and songwriters with his own song Winter sun which he performed live in front of a live audience at the Birmingham NEC in front of a j panel of top industry judges and an audience of over a 1000
He established himself with his first self produced album which caught the eye of his local BBC introducing DJ Lal Muttock who was impressed with Dan’s versatile vocals and songwriting skills
Then Dans next single Alive which was made in London at Charhouse Music studios went from strength to strength gaining multiple plays on BBC radio and interviews across many BBC Radio stations aswel as BBC WM with BBC Radio 2’s Richie Anderson, BBC Cambridgeshire And BBC Northampton as well as 100’s of other stations who picked up his latest single after reaching the top 50 of the iTunes chart
Since then Dan has a great reputation as a professional musician Performer and songwriter throughout the UK with his original music playing at festivals, Clubs, corporate events and weddings
Dan’s songwriting has always been one of his greatest strengths whether writing for other artists no matter the genre or writing for licensing opportunities Dan’s songwriting ability is extensive and covers all bases
