Review Centre: 1980s Era Musicians & Bands

"I absolutely loved this group of guys. They're talent is top notch, jaw dropping, record-and-rewatch kind of talent. I have done it over and over. Several years ago they brought us into their world by creating a live band karaoke night with 500+ song list. Coming from a singer who's performed for years in cover and tribute bands, I was floored by their musical knowledge and abilities. They're insanely talented and I've pushed the world aside on my bday a few times to make them my bday band just because they were playing somewhere on my big day. I highly recommend you go see them…you will love them. Tell them to play some "Floyd" for me. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and they're great humans too. These guys are top notch!"

"Had a fantastic 60th party in the garden thanks to Le Freak. They chose the playlist and it was spot on. Great sound. "I had The Last Broadcast at my partner's 40th Birthday party. They exceeded any expectations I may have had from previous bands at events and really brought the party to life. The track list got people up and dancing without any hint of cheese.... perfect. This is a band I would use for any future events and would recommend others to do the same. "The perfect party/wedding band. OPOV is the greatest party/wedding band in America! If they are available for your event, book them and you and your guests will have the night of their lives. The one thing my future son-in-law asked for during the entire wedding weekend was for OPOV to play at the reception. Damn, he was so right. The energy, musicianship, song selection, and wow, those singers captured the crowd and had everyone (even this old man) dancing the entire night. And the band members are each all so professional and nice to be with and talk to that you’ll want to invite them over for Sunday dinner. Just the best!"

"I met Doug at an outdoor event. The band we booked earlier had a sickness so they could not play for our annual corporate picnic. Doug was gracious to fill the slot in the last minute. When he plays, you think you are listening to a full band. Everyone had a great time singing and dancing. Doug was gracious enough to take requests. His singing, playing and extensive library is phenomenal. We will use him for future events."

"Downshift provided the evening live music at our wedding on 2nd September 2022. The band were absolutely fantastic. Really nice bunch of people and the communication was excellent from start to the finish. Our wedding guests loved the band and the music and they got everyone up on the dance floor and singing along. I can highly recommend them. :-)"

"DJ Lorenzo Cassigoli played at our wedding and was excellent. He asked us for our 50 top songs and used this to create the perfect playlist for our party. From the start of the music, all the way through the night, there wasn’t a space on the dance floor! He catered for all of our guests and everyone had a fantastic time. Not one fault at all. If we ever needed a DJ again, he would be our first choice. I’d even be tempted to fly him over to the UK if we needed a DJ here!"

"World Class Performer Nadine is an amazing entertainer. I was so lucky to have had her perform at the Rum House in the Edison Hotel in NYC at least once a week. She fills up the room with her great music selections and would get the whole establishment singing and dancing. It was special each and every time. I noticed after one month she became the biggest draw of guests than many others. I saw revenue increase on the evenings she performed. More importantly she is a great human being."
