"Roger was excellent in every possible way. He literally played a part in what we can only describe as one of the happiest and special days of our lives. He even went to the effort of learning Rita Ora's Anywhere which was playing when Vic proposed to me. He was charming as well as being incredibly talented. "History: At the end of 2022, Ras Maxx David decided to put together a new reggae band, after more than 15 years leading the roots reggae band Shakti I&I. That's how he got together with Johan, Clot's kid, on guitar and Tomas from Argentinian Córdoba on drums. The first line-up had Ronald Salamandra on bass and Andres Tosh on keyboards, both Venezuelans. On vocals, they collaborated with Monica, Ursula, Carlota and today with Alba. The current lineup features Mel (Ras Kuko, Roe Delgado, Gadys, Leon Demaria, 9 Roots) on bass guitar, and Dontai directly from Puerto Rico (Shakti I&I, Leon Demaria, 9 Roots) on keyboards. Juanele completes the equipment from the sound console with live dub effects. They have premiered at the Palau St Jordi at the Biocultura 2023 fair, at several major festivals in Barcelona (Poble Nou, Navas, La Sedeta) and several famous clubs in the city (Jamboree, Marula, Diobar, Almo2Bar, BlackLab, Estraperlo, Garage Beer, etc.) Ras Maxx David is presenting his latest LP titled "No Competition". (2025)."

"We recently got married at London Shenley Club and booked Alan for our ceremony and drinks Reception. He was extremely helpful in the build up to our wedding and always answered any questions I had very quickly he even sent us u preview of the bridal entrance a week before the wedding. We have had many guests say to us how amazing and talented Alan was,his music really does set a beautiful tone. On top of his talent,Alan is also a lovely guy who made the whole process simple. Thank you so much! "

"If you’re looking for a guitarist to play at your wedding, I couldn’t recommend Alan more! He has a huge playlist to choose from and had some many of our favourites. Alan moved around the venue depending on where guests were and so many of our guests commented on his playing. Annoyingly, we were delayed getting to our reception, due to transport issues, and Alan so kindly stayed to play for longer than planned for us. It was the perfect music for our wedding reception and breakfast! We can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and brilliant, Alan. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends! "I had the pleasure of having Alan play at my 40th birthday celebration, and he was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, he was professional, punctual, and a true pleasure to work with. He offered a wide range of songs to choose from and tailored the performance perfectly to suit the mood and Italian theme of the evening. His music added such an elegant and beautiful touch to the event — it truly elevated the entire atmosphere. Every note was played with care and passion, and you could feel how much he loves what he does. My guests couldn’t stop complimenting his performance!
