John Henry Johnson is a percussive fingerstyle guitarist known for his virtuoso guitar playing and wide array of techniques which allow him to blend melody, rhythm, and percussive elements into a mesmerizing symphony of sound. He is a full one man show and also collaborates with other musicians to fit any event.
Repertoire includes contemporary and classical/pop/blues/rock/folk arrangements such as artists like The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, SRV, Michael Jackson, Prince, Ozzy Osbourne, Jim Croce, Metallica, Imagine Dragons, and John Mayer.

I quite like playing contemporary instrumental music at corporate/private events and hearing people guess at what the songs are and sing along
I have been playing professionally full time since 2020, I started with playing at coffee houses and restaurants and after lots of improvement and learning I continued to move up to the highest levels
Tommy Emmanuel and Eddie Van Halen are my two biggest influences for sure. I think all along the watchtower is my favorite song, the Jimi Hendrix version.
I typically can setup in 20 minutes to an hour based on the venue size but often allow 1-3 hours of setup time for complications.
I play sets typically from 1-4 hours with short breaks at the end of each hour.
