"I have had the pleasure of hearing Urszula play at two concerts. The first was a Charity concert at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Flint and the second at a Memorial concert held in Frodsham for the late Eva Warren where she was accompanied by Raewyn Bailey. Both recitals were absolutely superb. Urszula is not only a very accomplished cellist she is a true professional with an engaging personality. She has the ability to create the most amazing sound and her interpretation of the music through her instrument is flawless. I am looking forward to hearing her perform again." Patricia Evans "

"When I was booking Andrew for my mother's funeral, he gave me a lot of details about the different points at which he could play the pipes, specfically Highland Cathedral. He was extremely helpful, polite and patient with me. I had to discuss and agree the idea of having a piper, with family, the vicar and also the funeral director - the latter heard that I had found Andrew Brian and he told me to book him immediately. It transpires that they had met each other at a previous funeral. So, for me that was endorsement enough. Andrew was marvellous and turned a sad day into something rather fitting and beautiful. "I'm not sure if there are many events that receive such detailed planning attention as do weddings. When my son and future daughter in law asked me if I could find a classical guitarist for their mid-summer outdoor wedding, I was thrilled to be assigned a specific role and to help. Stephan Kane came to us with strong recommendation. He exceeded our expectations from the first moment. At the bride's special request, Stephan was asked to play "La Valse d'Amelie" for the processional. I had heard the piece previously arranged for piano and for orchestra but never for guitar. Stephan created an arrangement for guitar especially for the event. Given that the event was outdoors and the procession stretched a goodly distance, timing the processional was part of the challenge. Stephan did that beautifully. Additionally, he provided lovely selections of his choosing as the guests assembled, appropriate amplification equipment, and executed both set up and break down of his equipment expeditiously and discretely. Stephan was politely responsive to my emails, communicated well and completely, and did for us everything that was expected and more. To me and to many, live music enhances any event. Working with a wonderful musician like Stephan, who is, as well as talented, gracious and humble, makes adding the magic of live music to the ambiance an easy decision. Val J."

"We met Chris at a local wedding venue. It wasn’t even in our plans to have a live singer at our wedding but things soon changed. we heard him as soon as we walked in and was still thinking the same. Then my wife asked him to play a certain song that she wanted to walk down the aisle to, that he didn’t actually know at the time. He asked us to give him two minutes he pulled up the melody quickly learnt the cords and the words to almost most of the song. Listening to him sing made my wife choke up and it was at that moment booking him was top of our list, we gave him our details and within a couple of days he was booked for our wedding. We were complimented throughout our wedding with how amazing and brilliant Chris was and the only regret we have with booking Chris is that we didn’t get the chance to hear him sing more with all the photos and talking to guests we had to do. Honestly if any of you reading this are unsure about booking him cast all your doubts aside and book him right now before it’s too late. you will be so happy you did. Chris himself is extremely friendly and really personable and is always himself will make you feel at ease and will learn songs and tailor his set list to what ever you want him to sing and honestly there isn’t really anything he can’t sing it all sounds absolutely amazing!"

"We were unable to get a violinist that we knew to play at my daughter’s wedding. We had a few recommendations from others and after a lot of searching I stumbled across the site for Up State strings. Jada was wonderful to work with and this was a pretty short notice need. She was great at communicating with me and made it super easy to book her for the wedding. Jada arrived and was set up early. She was very professional and did an outstanding job with the music we requested. Would use her again and highly recommend her and Up State strings. Thank you Jada "

"Thanks to direct contact it was clear in no time which instruments/which music. Also nice consultation about what was possible based on the musical taste of the deceased. The performance was exceptionally good. Even an unexpected improvisation was picked up flawlessly. Highly recommended."

"Thank you so much! I can not recommend Will enough, all songs were perfect and a range of upbeat and mellow. Will sang while everyone arrived and then while we were eating, we loved it so much we got off our feet and were all singing and dancing! Worth every penny!!"
