Ideally we need a performance space of at least 12' by 16', other than that, 2Proud2Beg is fully sustained by a professional level PA system. All we need is power and we are ready to rock!

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment, where we are setting up and where access to power is located.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

We did an performance for VIPs of the Kansas City Chiefs. The energy was amazing and we definitely almost felt like part of the organization.

We love all different types of events but weddings are our favourite. The guest are always there to party and keep the energy and dance floor jumpin' all night long.

I started singing in church as a gospel musician. I felt like the gig scene in my area was missing a great r&b soul band. So I got some other seasoned musicians together and we started perform wherever we could. Since then we have done hundreds of weddings, parties and events all over the country.

Artist like Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston as well as Motown make up the foundation of our musical sound. We love to the sounds that have stood the test of time but we also love modern artist such as Bruno Mars, Usher,Dua Lipa, Arriana Grande and many of todays soulful chart toppers. We do also love 90's Hip Hop.:-)

We normally arrive 2-3 hours before the performance to setup. We typically would perform 3 x 5- minute sets with 10-15 minute breaks in between each set. We do play longer depending on the gig but we've found that these set times serve us best as well as our clients

Because we do weddings a lot, about 30% of our gigs are outside. We love outside weddings, we just need a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

We work closely with our clients, especially wedding clients, to currate a set list that best suites them. We script with the client and allow their input to drive how the sets unfold. We even learn new songs if they fit our vibe and we can do them well. Clients can be as involved or as hands off as they want to be.
