I love performing at all kinds of events, but there’s something truly special about playing music that gets people dancing. Seeing guests come alive to the rhythm of my violin brings incredible energy to the moment — it turns a performance into a shared celebration.

Since 2018, I’ve had the joy of performing at over 100 weddings and events. I began my journey as a violinist while still at university, playing in a string quartet. Over time, I discovered how much I love connecting with audiences as a solo performer, and I began offering solo violin music for any event that needed a touch of something special. To this day, performing remains my absolute favorite part of being a musician — there’s nothing like creating live music in the moment and watching it bring people together.

I draw inspiration from a wide range of artists — from the mind-bending harmonies of Jacob Collier to the raw emotional honesty of Lizzy McAlpine. I’ve always admired the timeless brilliance of The Beatles and the theatrical genius of Queen. On the classical side, the depth and structure of Bach and the power and passion of Beethoven continue to shape the way I think about music. Choosing the greatest song of all time feels impossible — but if it moves people, lasts through generations, and tells a story, it’s already earned its place.

I normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up and do a sound check. I normally perform 3 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. I am happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."

I am happy to play outside but ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

I can learn specific songs before the event but usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
