Specializing in soulful, emotionally charged performances, I can bring jazzy, pop, R&B originals/ covers or a specially curated set of some of your favorite tunes. Want a special 80's party? Throwing a Halloween shindig? I've got you! From ballads of love to dance hits and everything in between, allow me to set the mood and create an event you won't soon forget! I can also sing some bossa nova and other Brazilian styles. It's possible to provide a duo up to a full band depending on your needs. We can also take care of music before and after the set as an additional service if you need us to pilot the vibe for the entire event. We would need inputs for guitar, possibly keyboard, inputs x3 mics for drums (if drums are being used) 6 mic stands for full band, PA system and mixer with reverb fx. These things can be negotiated depending on event size and requirements. Each gig is unique and can be negotiated accordingly.
We'd need to know the location, the size of the room, what tech is being offered, if food and drinks are included, and depending on the type of gig If there is an allowance for guest list. We would also need to know if there's limiter or sound restrictions at the venue.
On most occasions, we can provide the sound system yes. But typically there is a greater charge if we need to provide it. We currently do not have lights to provide.
We're happy to play music before after and between the sets. We can either choose the music or you can share your requests.
I have performed at shows for up to 700 people in Austin, Texas. I have played at venues such at WhiskeyTango Foxtrot, Continental Club in Austin, The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and B. Leza in Lisbon. I have also played some very historical venues like Thalia Hall in Chicago and Gallery Cabaret where the Smashing Pumpkins and Liz Phair got their early start.

I have been gigging since 2016 in Chicago, where I first began to pursue music. At the time, it was a side job.
I have been influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Parliament and the Funkadelics, João Gilberto, Khruangbin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and so so many more!
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We are happy to perform outside with proper shade in the hotter months, flat surface, and plenty of power per and available.
Each gig can be negotiated individually. Normally, if you have more than 10 songs you wish us to play, we need a lead time of at least two months to make sure we have ample time to rehearse and learn them for a great show! Normally we will do an assessment with the client to discover their wants and needs, then create a very special set based on that preliminary conversation.
