I am Alex Karavasilis, a Jazz Saxophonist with over 10 years of experience in music performance and production.
Based in the enchanting and picturesque Mykonos, I am one of the few Jazz musicians in the area.
My repertoire is based on Jazz Standards with an eclectic mix of styles such as Swing, Bop, Cool and Mainstream.
I create a distinct musical journey filled with emotions and respect towards your needs.

One of the best gigs I’ve ever done was in Athens. It was part of a jazz jam event and everyone in the audience was a musician and talking part.
Every event is unique for me. My favorite part of what I do is sharing the moment of improvisation with my audience. I get to share my emotions and who I am and get influenced by my audiences aura.
I started gigging as a drummer and when I ended up exclusively in jazz bands I got involved with the saxophone which I fell completely in love with.
Dexter Gordon. His sound is hauntingly amazing. The way that he improvises and executes each song is really elegant!
If you want an elegant and chique wedding party accompanied by a beautiful jazz saxophone then yes. I don’t play on top of djs or do dance parties.
I arrive 1 your before the performance in order to set up.
I normally perform 2 x 50 minute sets.
I can perform outside under a shade!
