Prefer to have someone close to you take on that role instead? Mélanie works behind the scenes: she trains them, writes with them, or writes for them, so everything is ready when the moment comes. Weddings, without a doubt. There is nothing quite like standing beside a couple as they say the words they have waited their whole life to say, and feeling the whole room hold its breath with them.
I trained as a lyrical singer and spent years performing on stage, then built a career as a public speaking trainer. In 2021, a friend asked me to officiate her wedding, and that one ceremony changed everything. I have since trained at the EFMM (France's leading wedding officiant school), joined ASSOCEM, and gone on to celebrate more than 20 ceremonies across France and beyond.
I am not a performing band, but music sits at the heart of every ceremony I write. My lyrical singing training lets me weave live songs into a ceremony when couples want that extra touch. Some of my most requested pieces are Can't Help Falling in Love, Your Song and Somewhere Only We Know: the kind of songs that quietly make an entire room well up.
